'Inn Harmony' is located on 4 pristine waterfront acres 2 miles from the center of St. Michaels, Maryland. Situated on a tributary of the Chesapeake Bay (the largest inland body of water in the United States). The property offers beautiful views, a relaxing park-like atmosphere in a truly natural environment.
'Inn Harmony' is a spacious 5000 square foot (including the screened-in porch) country cape cod situated on the east bank of the Harris Creek (1/2 mile wide) making for easy water access and beautiful sunsets. It has central air-conditioning, two master bedroom suites with king size beds, 4 full bathrooms and three additional large bedrooms. Living is centered around the spectacular 500 sq. ft. screened-in porch with mahogany wood floors and ceilings with gorgeous views to the water.
'Inn Harmony' also offers a family room with fireplace, a large kitchen and a t.v/game room. Amenities include a pool, hot tub, dock, kayak, outdoor tree swing, hammock, ping pong table and two laundry facilities for convenience. The house has just completed a full renovation including a new pool, landscaping and hardwood floors.
Activities include fishing and crabbing directly from the dock, countryside biking, tubing, boating, ping pong, badmitton, relaxation by the pool or in the hot tub, reading under the trees or swinging in our tree suspended hammock or swing. Evening activities including star gazing and sunset watching are memorable as a clear night will reveal the Milky Way Galaxy directly above.
Due to its temperate climate, the Eastern Shore enjoys a long outdoor season from March through November. The summer is most popular for its celebration of crab feasts and Plein-Air art festivals. The fall is famous for the massive influx of migratory waterfowl and associated festivals. Situated in a quaint historical locale and steeped in Eastern Shore culture, St. Michaels offers a beautiful contrast to cities such as Washington and Baltimore both of which make for a great day trip.
St. Michaels was voted one of the top 10 'Most Romantic Get-Aways' by Coastal Living Magazine.

New Years weekend
New Years weekend

10 of us spent the long New Years weekend at this house. This is a beautiful house on a lovely piece of property right on the water. Even on this cold cold winter weekend, it was great to walk down to the water. The house is actually larger and nicer than we expected -- the two master bedrooms are enormous, the breezeway is huge, the kitchen is spacious and easy for large groups to use, and there are two living rooms. Everything was clean and very nicely furnished/decorated - we could tell that this is a family home as well as a rental. The hot tub, which the owners considerately cleaned and prepared for us, was one of the nicest we'd ever seen. The rental experience was great. The owners were quick to deal with details, and spent extra time to give us recommendations in the area. The owners had lots of detail about the house, and were sure to be available if we had questions or problems. It really felt like being in a home instead of a rental, and we would love to visit again!Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, age 55+.

This was a great place for our family vacation which inlcuded three generations. The home was spacious and equipped with everything imaginable...include a crib for our little one. The property and views were beautiful (especially the sunsets) and there was so much to do that was fun for all ages. I would highly recommend this spot for those with a large group looking for a relaxing vacation spot. Debbie, your suggestions were extremely helpful for dinner ideas, boat rentals, photographers, etc. Thank you for sharing your home...we loved it! Debbie, we loved your beautiful home! I'm not sure if I told you, but we have been renting vacation homes for a very long time. I guess you'd say we are professional renters by this time in our lives! You wouldn't believe how often a rental for 10 or 12 people has seating for 8! And kitchen equipment...we even carry our own box of certain things. You can tell you use your home and love it. And know what families need while enjoying your home. The kitchen is so well equipped, and day to day supplies are so much appreciated. As I said, we never know what to expect, so we come prepared. Of course the setting is amazing, and though it was hot ( not as bad as last year when we were in Annapolis - 106!), we were able to utilize the screened porch, which we love. We were a bit concerned about the fridge. It was broken, not cooling, but shelving, and we were careful about further breakage. And the 2 metal stools at the island are a bit precarious. We put them aside. I always say to our gang, " not on our watch". But these things are minor, just wanted you to be aware. The bedrooms are fabulous, and so much space to be together and hang out, which is our primary purpose. And your suggestions for dining out were super. We hit Ava's, the Big Pickle, Harbor Lights, the schooner ( I think that's it ), and the kids did Gina's Cantina. All great!!! Thank you very much for providing our family with a perfect summer setting. Of course, I imagine it's perfect whatever the season!Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

Hi Debbie: I tried numerous times to send the review through the link you sent to me but it would never go through. Sorry. Jerri The home is terrific and the view is beautiful. Our group was comprised of two different families (5 adults) with several small children and we were able to spread out with plenty of room to spare during the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was very clean and well appointed. All our needs were met. We relaxed in the hot tub and enjoyed the beautiful view of the bay. Rode bikes, played football out on the huge lawn, and watched the sunset each evening on the dock. The owners were great about making sure we had all the information we needed and were happy to be contacted if there were any problems. I would definitely return to this home and am happy to recommend it to others. There is absolutely no risk in renting this great house. Pure enjoyment!Did you find this review helpful? Just wanted to drop a note to let you know what a wonderful stay we had at your home in St. Michaels. Your home was not only beautiful, but so comfortable and inviting. The views were wonderful and we really enjoyed sitting on the porch and catching up. The restaurant recommendations were excellent and all added up to a very restful and enjoyable stay. The ladies were so pleased with the location, they are asking about renting for the same weekend again next year.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, age 55+, sightseeing.

Hi, Debbie. We had a great week at the house! The porch and the pool were the big hits…the pool during the day with the children and the porch at night for reading and Scrabble games. The five-year-old was thrilled about the bunk bed. We were very pleased with everything about the house and the fact that it turned out to be exactly as described online. We ended up not using the grill as we ate most dinners out. We enjoyed exploring Tilghman Island , Oxford via the ferry, a bit of Easton and of course St. Michaels. You have a lovely home, Debbie, and we certainly enjoyed our time together there. It’s a good place for multi-generational families like ours.Did you find this review helpful? Dear Debbie, Just wanted to let you know we arrived yesterday and are just thrilled with Graystone. You have an outstanding home here, inside and out! We love the beautiful details in every room and the porch...has its own gravitational pull. Thank you for having the house all set up for us. There were even a few crabs in the traps!! Debbie – I wanted to say thanks for a great visit to the Eastern Shore. St. Michaels is wonderful, and we loved the house. The kids had a great time playing in the yard and pool, checking the crab traps, visiting Justine’s, and taking the ferry to Oxford. The adults enjoyed reading, biking, and relaxing on the screen porch. I hope you’re enjoying yourselves there this week. Take care. Owner Submitted ReviewDid you find this review helpful? Hi Debbie, Welcome home! We loved your St. Michael's home. Our son thought we should purchase it as a family retreat - he has delusions of grandeur! The ten of us had a marvelous time. The surprise anniversary gift was a champagne gourmet dinner on a chartered ship jack which was a fun evening for all ages. Took your activities list and did just about everything but I thought the best thing was just staying home. We ate lots of crabs and even bought a bushel from the Nevitt wholesaler. More thanks for leaving the life jackets as kayak got used every day. Had no rain and we lived on that fabulous porch and never ate inside. George called our first night and offered to help in any way. So glad we did not have to call him but nice to know he was available. You have a beautiful home and it was very special to be your guests. Thank you.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0
