This 5 acre, 5500 Sqft, 6 bedroom/4.5 bathroom luxury log home with additional loft space for sleeping, features an open floor plan on the main level with a vaulted living room, wood burning stove, large flat screen TV and huge windows creating the perfect serene retreat for your friends and family.
This home is ideal to cater to large groups; you'll find 2 suites with King beds and private baths. Our private baths are decked out with granite throughout and Euro Glass luxury showers and jetted tubs to relax your every muscle. The additional bedrooms include a king size beds, a children’s room with bunk beds and a King bed, as well as additional loft space with pull outs to accommodate everyone in your party. We just remodeled our basement to provided added luxuries of two master bedrooms with queen beds and one additional bathroom.
Our full service gourmet kitchen includes everything you'll need to prepare and enjoy great meals in a setting that is perfect for entertaining In addition, for your convenience there are front loading washer and dryers to keep you looking your best no matter what the occasion.
When looking for something to do there is no shortage of activities. Located just minutes from boat launches at Lake Michigan, Pickeral Lake and Crooked Lake. You will make memories for a life time along all our pristine water ways. The white sandy beaches of Petoskey State Park create an ideal setting for volley ball, sun bathing, picnics or a romantic sunset.
For our active travelers we are conveniently located between the world renowned golf courses of Boyne Highlands and The Bay Harbor Golf Club. During the winter season Boyne Highlands and Nubs Nob offer more than a 100 well groomed trails and over 550 vertical feet for skiing and boarding no matter what the level your at.
Take time to discover a piece of history while you here. Just a short thirty minute drive to the ferry’s to Mackinac Island. Mackinac Island is the home of the lilac festival, yacht races and fudge galore. This island allows no cars so dust off your bikes or rent one while your there.
During the fall season it is truly breath taking to indulge your senses in the fall colors of Northern Michigan. Whether you are taking a drive or riding your bike through the famous "Tunnel of trees," you will truly be taken by surprise the beauty of our nature surroundings.

Fantastic experience. The cottage is gorgeous and great for families or groups of friends. Glowing reviews from everyone in our group...excellent weekend and an excellent way to spend a birthday. We'll be back!

This place is amazing! We had a group of 18 people that stayed in Feb. 2010. The place accomidated us perfectly! Tons of room very clean and the craftmanship of the place was top of the line. I highly recommend this place! The place is close to both Boyne Highlands and Boyne Mountain. You are also close enough to Owasso Casino that the shuttle will pick you up at the end of the driveway! The owner is a great person to work with! We are already booked for 2011 and plan on booking every year!

Would not recommend. Owner tried to keep security deposit on a couch that was broke when we arrived. We had to consider court action.
Owner response:I am sorry for the prior review. These people completely trashed our home broke our brand new furniture, admitted to scratching our beautiful slate flooring. They broke into our personal cabinets and drank all of our personal liquor. It is a shame when you give guests a great rate for a handcrafted beautiful home and they disrespect your property and then have the nerve to write a negative review even after I returned the security deposit to avoid flight costs for a court date. We have shared our home with over fifty families and groups over the past two years and thankfully these people are the only bad renters so far. We look forward to serving our future guests with great memories and a breathtaking place to stay.
