Inside, you will find a warm, safe inviting environment aside the stone fireplace for wholesome family recreation or a lovely romantic atmosphere for two. The 50-60's interior design and furnishings will add to your enjoyment of this peaceful, tranquil and relaxing environment.

Our property is convenient for those attending or participating in the Annual Grape Vine Iron Man. The Korbel Winery, the producers of the famous champagne, is just minutes from the property. Home is in the same area as Casini Ranch/Campground Annual Civil War Days, located in Duncan Mills. Also in Duncan Mills is the Annual Professional Rodeo.
If extra sleeping accommodations are necessary, owner can provide a Vintage Airstream Trailer on site for an additional fee

What a great location! What a great place! The owners make sure everything is perfect for you; right down to delivering homemade scones to the grandkids on a Sunday morning! Our family stayed in this little paradise for a week without feeling cramped a bit..there was plenty of room for all. Day trips to Occidental, Bodega, Jenner, Guernville and Casini Ranch were fun...but it was nice to come back to the warm cozy beds waiting at Howard's place. Thank you Kevin and Margaret!
Recommended for:People with disabilities, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing, pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children.

Eight of us stayed here in May and everything was perfect. The property is very quiet and relaxing. There are two bedrooms, a pull out couch and a full bath in the main house. There is a small guest house next door with a bedroom, bath and laundry. The hot tub and sauna are just across the road (less than one minute walk from the main house). The river front patio is lovely; but if you need more room there is a large greenbelt 1/4 mile up the road where you can lounge, fish or play Frisbee. There is a hiking trail right across the street. You are about 10 minutes from Jenner and 15 minutes from Healdsburg; but the cabin is right in Duncans Mills with a few restaurants and shops. As someone else wrote, the banana bread was lovely and a nice touch for guests who had a bit of drive to get to the Russian River area.
Recommended for:Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

This is a lovely place in a prime location. The host is great. The beds were cozy and the view beautiful. Nice big tub in the main house. We were joined by two other couples and had a fabulous time.
