Enjoy New York City in this comfortable, clean, 2nd story walk-up on the historic Lower East Side! Apartment is ideal for 1 or 2 people. This is not a share, there are very few personal belongings and all furnishings are brand new.

Building: A quiet, well-maintained, family-owned tenement building in the center of one of the oldest neighborhoods in Manhattan. The apartment is on the 2nd floor, has windows facing north and west and gets beautiful afternoon sun light. There is NO elevator.

Apartment: This newly renovated studio is furnished with a brand new queen-size pillow-top bed, chaise lounge and dining area with chairs. There is a large closet, hardwood floors, blackout shades and dimmable recessed and bedside lighting. The kitchen is open and is equipped with all items necessary to cook including a microwave. The bathroom is full size and with shower, w/c, sink and medicine cabinet. Professionally laundered towels and luxury linens are provided. There is a flat-screen TV, DVD player and wireless Internet.

Location: Lower East Side, on Essex Street between Hester Street and Canal. Directly across from Seward Park. It is one block to the East Broadway subway stop on the F Line, and 3 bus lines are within 2 blocks of the building. Only a short walk to Chinatown, Soho, the East Village and Little Italy, but there is plenty to do in this 'Bargain District'. Attractions include something for everybody: boutiques and vintage stores; art galleries, neighborhood tours and museums; dive bars and clubs; live music and independent films; fine dining, cafes and cheap eats.

  • I will definitely come back here or recommend this place to anyone visiting New York. The place was well-priced, in a great location, was very quiet and private, and right by the F train making it very easy to get wherever you want to in New York. The owner was very warm, welcoming and hospitable and designed the place to feel like you're in a very nice hotel. If you want to come to New York and stay in a nice place without spending all your money on accommodation, definitely stay here!

  • The apt was in a great location. We walked to Chinatown, Little Italy, Tribecca, Soho and Greenwich Village. The owner was amazing, she set us up with water, juice and a chocolate goody bag! When my fiance (we got engaged on this trip) and I go back we will definitely stay here again!! P.S. check out Vanessa's Dumpling House at Eldrige and Broome!!

  • This apartment is beautiful, and it's a steal! Great location, and the place itself is spotless and comfortable. The owner is thoughtful and accommodating, and left lots of nice little touches that made us feel truly welcome :) I'll definitely stay here anytime I come to New York!
