This 5 bedroom home was built in 2005 and designed around a 60 foot private waterfall and creek. It has a brand new secluded hot tub with it's own deck overlooking the waterfall and creek. There is also a firepit on an island surrounded by a meandering creek where kids can play and explore.
The house was designed for families to be able to spread out comfortably. On the main level off the foyer there is a living room with fireplace, master suite, Kitchen and dining area. Downstairs there is a second living area, wet bar, foosball table and two bedrooms. Each level has a TV one of which is a HD flat screen. On the top floor there are two more bedrooms with a loft in between. Outside there are numerous decks and balconies with seating for relaxing or just taking in the scenery.
The private dock is about 200 yards away and provides hours of fun just swimming or exploring. One of the 5 waterfalls that feeds Lake Glenville is at the base of our entry.
We are a short drive to both Cashiers and Highlands where you will find great antiquing, restaurants and shops. The area is often referred to as "the land of waterfalls", five of which feed Lake Glenville situated at 3542 feet above sea level with 26 miles of shoreline and pristine mountain lake waters.
Summer is Grand, there is never a dull moment whether waterskiing, viewing waterfalls, fishing, hiking, camping, shopping or just relaxing makes special memories that no other place can match! There is truly 'something for everyone' to do. Take the kids down to the dock come back sit on the porch rocker and just read a good book. Go for a hike and view a waterfall of magnificent beauty; visit a local town and go antiquing; view mountain art at one of the many craft shows. Golf at one of the local top class courses. If you want moment to moment activity for all age groups, it is readily available. If you want relaxation, it is inherent in this 'getaway from it all'-paradise.
