Enjoy the perfect get-away cabin overlooking the stunningly beautiful sandstone buttes and canyons of Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument between Bryce Canyon National Park and Capitol Reef National Park.
It is located just 2 miles from the quaint town of Boulder off the scenic Burr Trail road.
The cabin exudes a warm feel and features post and beam construction with natural pine interior walls and tile floor. The floor plan includes an open kitchen/living/dining area where large windows take your eye to a mesmerizing view of slick rock canyons and Navajo Mountain in the distance.
One bedroom is on the first floor with a queen size bed and is adjacent to the bath that includes a sandstone shower. Upstairs is a large open loft, split into two additional bedrooms with one queen and one full size bed. The beds are all very comfortable with high quality futon mattresses.
Early risers may be greeted by a herd of mule deer grazing around the cabin followed by an incredible illumination of Durfee Mesa and Sugarloaf Butte as the sun hits their crème-colored sandstone flanks.
You may want to spend many hours on the deck taking in the view and the peaceful quiet.
While staying here, you will have access to some of the finest hiking in Southern Utah. There are a myriad of hikes close by in the Escalante canyons. Or, you can take the spectacular drive down the Burr Trail to Capitol Reef National Park.
You can choose to dine in or head into Boulder to experience the famous Hell’s Backbone Grill.
