I was prepared for the paper thin walls... except the day I arrived it sounded like small children were moving furniture... which turned out to be close to reality. I was not prepared for the food stains on the couch, dusty floors and leaky shower and toilet unsecured from non-moving surface. The place could use some help..

I will of course get to toilet and the shower fixed immediately and have the couch cleaned. As you can see from our other reviews, that is not peoples normal experience with us. I do wish you would have contacted me at the beginning of your stay and I would have sent over the handyman and the housekeeper. We did have a new person moving into the building during your stay -- I am sorry, I know that can be a pain. Again, I feel so bad that your stay was not dreamy and that we did not know in time to fix things. Rest assured we will fix them now !!

The condo was simply wonderful. It was tucked away in a quiet residential part of town but still close enough to walk to all the excitement on and near the beach. We were about a 10 minute walk to the beach on Ocean Drive. We were able to walk to the shopping district on Collins and the clubs on Washington. We rarely used our rental car besides driving to the Publix on 6th street, which was simply 5 minutes away, and visiting friends in other parts of the city. The condo was very inviting and was fully stocked with all the necessities we needed for our week's stay, including a washer and dryer and DirectTV. Elizabeth and Tom (the property manager) were easily accessible by phone and email. We really enjoyed ourselves ourselves in South Beach and the condo made our stay very memorable.

We spend a week in Miami beach in August 2010. An there's no better place to stay that Elizabeth's apartment. This unit is new, clean, modern and fully equipped. Has DIRECTV, WiFi, A/C, Washer/Dryer and it's perfectly located. The price was inclusive of tax and cleaning fees. No hidden costs. If your plans don't includes a car, don't worry... The apartment is walking distance from everything in Southbeach. The Beach, supermarket, Collins, Ocean Drive, Española Way, Lincoln Road, you can walk everywhere. The area is really quite, safe and calm and you're just two blocks from the beautiful Flamingo Park. The walking to the beach is about 10 minutes (8 blocks) across the Art Deco district. If you rent a car, like we do, the parking space at the back of the building is a big PLUS, because parking in south beach it's really a issue. Elizabeth was an ease to deal with, and she and the property manager (Tom) were great solving a little problems that we have during our stay. It's really important to have someone to call, and their response was fast an very professional. Thank you both and Thumbs Up for you guys. We really enjoy our stay here and will visit again.

The perfect place for me

"I was in Miami Beach for a convention, but needed to get some work done while there. A hotel was not what I was looking for but Elizabeth's condo unit was perfect. While a bit far from the convention center, about a 45min walk each way, I didnt mind. I got some exercise in and enjoyed the beautiful art deco builldings along the way. So early morning, while still cool I leisurely walked north to the convention center, taking different streets each time, stopping for coffee at the Lincoln Road mall. On the way back in the evenings, I picked up take-out food from one of the hundreds of places I passed. Having great wifi and a washer and dryer in the unit was invaluable. It suited my needs perfectly. The condo is close to Whole Foods and a number of small neighborhood markets, so everything is convenient. While the beach is not close, its only a 15min walk through the deco neighborhoods. 9th street heading east ends right in thick of the beach scene on Ocean Ave and that is great. All in all I had a wonderful stay, the unit is modern, clean and well appointed, in a good location and perfect for a calm quiet stay, rather than at a busy beach hotel. Taxis are cheap and plentiful in the area and the neighborhood is safe day and night with the normal precautions. Handling the arrangements with Elizabeth was extremely easy and she was so generous in accommodating my early morning arrival from Los Angeles. I wholeheartedly recommend this unit for a person or couple who will be in Miami Beach for at least a few days to a few weeks. It is just the perfect balance to the buzz on Collins or Ocean Ave. Thanks again for a most terrific and comfortable stay."

Clean, Great, As Advertised

Unit was clean, new, well kept, fully stocked. Has DIRECTV, WiFi, A/C, Washer/Dryer. Elizabeth was an ease to deal with, and price was inclusive of tax and cleaning fees. No hidden costs. Location wise, it's not the shortest walk to SoBe, but certainly doable. We had a car so the parking spot in the back was key - we just drove everywhere. Unit is located on ground floor in the rear of the building so you can hear people coming and going out of the rear door, but it wasn't too much of an issue. I'd stay here again.

Beautiful, spacious, modern, clean apartment. Very good location, 15 minutes walk to the beach, 2 blocks away from Flamingo Park where pool and playard for children is available. Very quiet and safe. Huge comfortable bed. Will visit again, thank you Elizabeth!

Hi Elizabeth, just wanted to drop a note of thank- you for renting your condo to our family. It was perfect ten minutes by feet to the beach, no worries about parking!! The condo was super clean and the washer and dryer came in handy! All your advise was great Oliver's was fantastic and so was the Delano Hotel. You were very easy to deal with and as a first time renter through HomeAway you made everything a positive experience!! We will definitely miss the beautiful beach and our nightly walks to Ocean Drive, but we will be back!!! Thanks so much Elizabeth!!

We just got back from a 4 day weekend in South Beach and loved the condo. It was centrally located and walking distance to the beach, restaurants and nightlife. The condo was well equipped and decorated nicely. Elizabeth was also very helpful in answering questions and making recommendations for what to do in Miami.
