As a resort town, nearly every weekend offers a new experience of activities. Lake Andrew offers water skiing, jet skiing, swimming, and some of the best walleye fishing Minnesota has to offer - its the fishing lake of the locals! In addition to the watersports, try out one of six golf courses within 15 miles, spend a day at Carlos Creek Winery, or explore the 55 mile Central Lakes Bike Trail.

Why the Owner Chose Alexandria
Raised in Alexandria, my brother and I both left the area, but not Minnesota. We purchased this property together in 2008 as a fantastic retreat for our families. Our parents live approximately 10 houses down the road, making this an ideal location of us to vacation. Alexandria has many lakes to offer, of which we tried them all through the years. Lake Andrew is by far our favorite, offering serenity, recreation, the best sand beaches, great fishing, while avoiding the excessive lake traffic. This property we purchased has been described by many as the "nicest lot on Lake Andrew". We use this property at least half the summer, and rent it the other half so that others may enjoy Lake Andrew as much as our families do.
