Why the Owner Chose Emerald Isle
We have always enjoyed Emerald Isle and finally decided to invest after many years of vacationing here.
The Unique Benefits at this House
We love waking up to the sound of waves breaking. We are within walking distance to a little mini mart and we enjoy making this walk early in the morning to get the morning paper. We usually walk on the street there and return along the beach...a perfect way to start the day. There are enough restaurants and entertainment options to keep you busy if you choose, but not too many. Our favorite restaurant is Flippers. Some of the things we enjoy doing are: obviously enjoying the beach, playing tennis at the town park, getting ice cream at DQ, going for walks and runs along Ocean Drive or the town sidewalks, going to a movie, renting and riding bikes around the island and down to the point, and other "lazy day" things. Our favorite shops are: Flip Flops for cute gift items, Fran's for bathing suits, Sweet Dreams (back over the bridge and worth the trip) for home interior and gift items, and the EI bookstore which also has a section of games, books and activities for kids.

My family (all 10 of us) stayed for a week in Oct. of this year. First time there and all of us want to return sometime. Oct. is a great time of year as the beaches are not crowded, the water still warm and the weather is perfect for fall. Very clean and maintenence was excellent. Photos reflect the property accurately. Had trouble with pool motor and repair was immediatel.

We have stayed in this house twice over the last couple years. The owners have always been helpful and responsive. The house has been in great condition, nicely decorated, and always clean. The pool is a definite must-have for the kids. I recently took my 1-year old son to the beach for the first time, and it was great to be able to come back and relax by the pool after we had too much of the sand! We will be back and would recommend to anyone!

We had 9 family members ranging in age from 28-87 and the house worked for all of us. Loved the pool area where we could congregate and listen to the ocean. It was our first house on the beach and we loved it.

We had a great time at this home! It is a beautiful home that had plenty of space for our group of eleven. Great views of the ocean; we saw dolphins every morning! We all enjoyed the well-maintained pool and porch swing! The owners were very accommodating and pleasant. We had lunch at Flipperz. Their lobster bisque was amazing! We had a delicious dinner at Rucker John's, service was a little slow, but it was very busy the night we went. Elly's Gifts is one of our favorite shops, as well as Flip Flops and The Sweet Spot. We can't wait to go back this year! After much searching online and scoping out other homes in the area on other visits, I truly believe it is the best value in Emerald Isle. Thank you for making such a wonderful rental home affordable!

The house is perfect, the owners amazing, the pool-icing on the cake. Perfect furnishings, well-equipped kitchen, beautiful huge bedrooms and bathrooms. We went with kids, grandparents, and everyone was thrilled. Everything was spotless and well maintained. I cannot wait to go back!!!

What a delightful beachfront home! Beautifully and brightly decorated, clean, well-maintained house with plenty of space to relax. Spacious empty pantry to fill with your goodies for the week, plenty of pots, pans, dishes, serving bowls, etc. Lovely big refrigerator, counter bar with sturdy chairs, and a fantastic big dining table for eating, card playing, games, puzzles, etc! The pool was clean and inviting. Great porch swing and picnic table. Dolphins swimming right in front of the house! Love, love, love it! :)
