This cottage is located in Port Carling at the hub of the 3 major Muskoka lakes (Lake Muskoka,Rosseau, and Joseph). This is one of Canada's main vacation area. Top golf courses are nearby. Watersports, Hiking. etc. The cottage is located directly on the clear water of Lake Muskoka. It is off the year round scenic and paved Mortimerspoint road. From here you reach our cottage by a 500 yard long laneway, which goes through the forest with mature Pine and Oak trees. Occasionally you will see deer. There is plenty of parking. You can park your car directly in front of the cottage main entrance providing visitors of all ages easy access. You can also arrive by boat. Boat parking for 4 - 30ft boats is possible. The cottage is a warm wooden Panabode structure. The views are long with island dotted scenery. The property has 250 ft shoreline. Our retreat is located between Port Carling and Bala off Mortimer's Point Road. We are on the North shore. This means we enjoy the Sun from sunrise to sunset. Two canoes, one row boat, and a small sail/row boat are included.

The cottage is on one level with the screen porch, and the large BBQ deck. There is a 2nd deck at the lower level. Both decks have sun and shade all day. In addition we have wrap around decks on 2 levels at the boathouse with additional docks at the water level. Lots of space for relaxing, watersports. There is also a swimming raft to be enjoyed by the swimmers.
The cottage consists out of a modern kitchen equipped with stove top, wall oven, dishwasher, microvave. Living room has very large windows. There is a 46" flatscreen LCD tv. There is a wood burning fireplace for these cool evenings, and electric heat with thermostats in every room.
The master bedroom has a 4 pce ensuite bathroom. The 2 guest bedrooms share a 4 pce bathroom. All rooms do enjoy the same Southern view through large panoramic windows.
