  Our stay at this condominium was fabulous! It was the perfect location! The beach was beautiful! (our first time to Orange Beach) The condominium complex were very nice and very well maintained. Will definitely go back and stay here!

  We enjoyed our stay at this unit even though Tropical storm Debby was threating the coast. The owners, Melanie & Gerry were in constant contact with us and luckily, the storm headed east. We really enjoyed the convenience of having lots of restaurants within minutes of the condo.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children.

  Our week-long stay at this condo was awesome! It was very convenient to several seafood restaurants that we hadn't tried before.

  Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children.

  Our vacation at Sugar Beach was nice except this unit itself. Upon arrival, a quick check of the kitchen revealed dishes had been placed back in cabinet dirty. There were several misrepresentations that can't be over-looked. This unit does not sleep 5. The sofa downstairs is very old and worn out to simply sit comfortably, much less to be used for sleep. The "sofa" upstairs is very tiny and right beside the bed, which would be fine for a very small child only. The 2nd misrepresentation is parking is not included as was stated to us. Also, the day of check out the code to unlock the door quit working. It took an hour to get back in the unit to finish taking out the trash, loading the dishwasher & placing the linens by the washer. At 10:08 the owner showed up to get in the unit and instead of apologizing for our inconvenience with the door code no longer working, we were met with a very rude woman (the owner). On the phone she stated there is an hour grace period upon check in & check out, and in person said she never said this. This left a very bad impression on our very nice vacation. The property is very well maintained and nice. We will return to Sugar Beach but will NOT rent from these people.

  Owner response: We pride ourselves in properly representing our unit. We are sorry that these guests didn't enjoy themselves as much as others have. Please see our other reviews. Our VRBO listing has photos of both our sofa sleeper (3 years old) and futon (2 years old). Our customer agreement and invoices both have an explanation of the parking fee, which goes to the condominium association to help defray the cost of security. For the convenience or our guests we have a key-less entry system that is customized for each guest and we allow extra time before and after the check in and check out times to accommodate brief early arrivals or short delays in checking out. Our housekeeping staff cleans many units, in addition to ours, each Saturday. We guarantee them an available 5 hour window to clean our units. We rely on our guests to put away clean dishes and apologize if the prior guests did not do this. We do hope that they will return to Sugar Beach in the future.

  We had a great time. The unit was very clean and modern (new appliances, tvs, etc.). The owners were great to work with (reserving unit and receiving prompt refund of deposit). We enjoyed the pools. The security guards are very nice and professional too.

The prices are still reasonable and you are close to great restaurants and attractions; like the zoo, golf courses, Waterville, dauphin cruises, parasailing, etc. Hope you'll plan to visit us again next year.

  Absolutlely loved our stay at Sugar Beach. Condo was wonderful, even better than I expected. The owners were great to deal with. They answered all my questions in a timely manner. We can't wait to stay there again.

  It was our first trip to the area. I must say that this condo was everything that the owners said and more. The location was perfect. We will definitely return at a later date and hope to be able to get one of their units.

  I loved my stay at Sugar Beach and this condo. It is in a great location. The description and pictures on the website are very accurate. The appliances, flooring and countertops are new and very good quality. Everything was neat and clean. The beach is just a few short steps away. I will definitely return to this condo for another stay. The security guards always greeted you with a smile. I felt very safe and secure. I would highly recommend this property to everyone. The owners are great to work with. They also have available another condo just across the hall from this one.
