  My wife and I-seniors in retirement-enjoyed a delightful ten-day stay in Maria’s very nice condo-part of the attractive and well maintained 9-unit Casta Blanca Condo complex. Here we always felt safe and secure and enjoyed the friendship, advice and assistance of more PM- experienced US and Canadian couples occupying other condo units in Casta Blanca. You never had to compete for the reclining chairs around the pool, or suffer noisy neighbors. It is a quiet, very relaxing place, enhanced by a great view of the sea where one can watch the sunrise with an early morning coffee and in the evening see the cruise ships on the horizon heading north. And of course, importantly, enjoy the hot sunny weather. The whole time we were there was a steady sea breeze that made it unnecessary to turn on the air conditioning units. The WIFI connection is good too so one has reliable Internet connections for communicating with friends and family. The complex has replacement containers of drinking water at 30 pesos. A few old bikes are also available for occupants use. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable relaxing vacation. It is beachfront-located as the photos show with about 50 feet of sandy beach between it and the saltwater. So swimming and snorkeling is at your front door so to speak. However, the beach gets wider and better for swimming and snorkeling closer to town. If you want to snorkel on the fabulous Caribbean Reef you can arrange to have a boat pick you up in front of the condo, as we did. On occasions when you may need assistance to call a taxi, arrange a snorkel or fishing trip, etc. Philippe and/or Ernesto who look after take care of the property are always willing to help. Ernesto speaks English fluently. Philippe has the local contacts. Both are super, obliging guys. If you wish to eat out you will find a wide selection of restaurants in PM, where you can have a full three course meal, or enjoy, say, something simpler but still very satisfying and tasty such as tacos or pizza and a beer in a small street-side setting.

  Maria was so helpful with any questions we had. The condo looks just like the photos and was like a 2nd home so comfortable and cozy. The view was amazing and we spent 98% of our time outside. The pool was never crowded, everyone was friendly and had helpful tips. My mother (has one leg) in her wheelchair was able to manuever herself out of the condo, around the deck and into the pool all by herself. She even made it down to the beach and swam in the ocean our last day! I snorkeled right in front of the condo every day - saw a sea turtle! Starfish and other fish! The rocks were spread out and didn't pose a problem for us at all. We enjoyed the walk into town via the beach and the quick taxi ride in - everyone was helpful and friendly.

  We stayed for 9 nights .It was our first visit to Mexico . There were 4 adults and our grandaughter who had her second birthday while we were there. The condo was clean and well equipped . The A/C worked well and the beds were comfortable . We did not miss the washer and dryer . We enjoyed the pool very much . Maria the owner, was pleasant to deal and so were the maintenance staff . There are 9 units in the building but the place was not crowded and the unit has good soundproofing . We met residents and guests and all were friendly and interesting to talk to . We really liked the location , its quiet, on the beach and a 30 minute walk to the town square . Puerto Morelos is a very nice little town .The place felt very safe with lots of people walking around and biking .There are good restaurants - we had an excellent meal at Los Pelicanos , a car rental office and ATM in town , For a good grocery store you have to go to Playa del Carmen or Cancun , although you can get fresh fruit and fish in town . You cannot swim in the ocean by the condo because of rocks at the waters edge but further down the beach towards town there is good swimming and snorkelling . The highlights for me were the condo and pool , the cenotes, and trying to talk with Mexican people .

  We just returned yesterday from this lovely property and already want to come back. The condo is just beautiful and the ground floor location lets you walk out just steps to the pool and the ocean. Town is a short walk up the beach where we found great restaurants, particularly the Argentinian and Uruguay ones. Puerto Morales is small and quaint with an authentic Mexican feel. Cabs were always waiting to take us the few minutes back home or to the Jungle Spa for the best massage ever and to other destinations. We snorkled just up the beach from the condo and saw tons of coral, fish and even our first sea turtle. The condo is very clean and secure and nicely furnished with everything you might want, including hassle-free WiFi. Maria was so helpful making sure we had everything we needed and even saw to our last minute requests. This property is everything you could want in a vacation rental and more.

  Our stay at Maria's condo at Costa Blanca was simply wonderful. The condo was just as pictured and even better. It was very clean and well decorated with very nice furnishings. What a wonderful view of the ocean and sunrise every morning! We used the hammock often. Loved the pool and it was great to be right in the middle on the ground floor. The condo was set up with everything we needed, from dishes to a blender, toaster, coffee maker, bedding, towels, beach towels, and so much more. The washer and dryer were an extra added bonus! Maria was available if we needed her, but we never needed a thing! We felt very safe and comfortable. Thank you to Ernesto who helped us figure out the cable TV and was there every day for any questions we had. The walk on the beach to the town of Puerto Morelos is about 20-25 minutes and very enjoyable. It’s a lovely little town with very friendly people. We ate at some great restaurants, make sure you try the Uruguayan restaurant and get the steak, it was very good. Thanks Maria we had a wonderful stay at your beautiful condo!!!

  Many thanks to Maria for your kindness and caring. Also a special thanks to Ernesto and Pilar. We were very well cared for. Puerto Morelos is very safe and friendly, and our condo was everything we wished for and more. It's quite spacious and unpretentious, lovely shining white tile floors and a large marble patio that does not absorb the heat from the sun. We ate and cooked at home most of the time enjoyng our Margueritas, homemade guacomole, salsa and fresh fish. The beds are comfortable and everything was clean. I would recommend this lovely condo to anyone. We walked into town every day and met friendly Mexicans and Ex-Pats who live there. The reef is world class for snorkelling. Thanks you so much for a holiday we will not forget.

  My husband and I just returned from Elena's lovely condo at Costa Blanca. We were very comfortable...the condo was very clean and offered us everything we needed. The terrace doors open up to a very large patio with the infinity pool and Caribbean right in front of us. We met lots of lovely people that were staying at the condo too, but it was still very serene and relaxing. The town of Puerto Morelos is a 20 minute walk either along the beach or thru the residential neighborhood which is very safe. This is the 2nd time we came back to this town and we just love it! Every restaurant is terrific and it is very laid back. We also listened to several music venues after dinner each nite that were terrific.

  We had a wonderful vacation at Costa Blanca and fell in love with Puerto Morelos! The property was clean, very well appointed and even better than described. The kitchen was nicely furnished, and we cooked about half our meals there. There was no dishwasher, but we didn't mind doing dishes by hand. We did have a washer/dryer. You can step from the living area or master bedroom through the sliders to the infinity pool and then just a few steps down to the gorgeous beach. It was quiet and very relaxing. Most of our neighbors in this 9-unit condo were Americans or Canadians, and not all units were occupied while we were there. Only 25 minutes from Cancun, and you can catch a cab, rent a car if you wish to do some sightseeing, or make a reservation with a pickup/delivery shuttle service. We walked into town -- about a mile and a half -- along the beach twice, bought groceries and then took a taxi back to the condo. The larger grocery stores are in Cancun and Playa del Carmen. The fruit and vegetable market is across the highway in the colonia of Puerto Morelos. You can rent a car in Puerto Morelos if you decide to do some sightseeing later. We drove to Akumal for lunch and also visited the ruins at Tulum and Coba on two different days. We had wonderful food at most of the restaurants around the square (zocalo) in Puerto Morelos and bought fresh fish at the Fisherman's Cooperative and cooked it at the condo on the barbeque grill. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. It does help if you speak some Spanish, but that is not absolutely necessary. We were very pleased with this property and have already recommended it to family members and other friends. We plan on returning again as soon as possible! The only suggestions I have are for a few extra kitchen dish towels and bicycles with baskets that could be used by the condo occupants without cars to take to town.   What a wonderful week we had in Puerto Morelos. The condo is clean, modern and just great and located right on the beach. We were by ourselves most of the time. The owners, Elena and Maria, made sure that everything was fine.

  Our second visit to Puerto Morelos and our first time at Costa Blanca. It is an excellent place to stay in PM - well equipped, clean, good location, beautiful. Thanks Elena 1 and 2 for all your good care of us!
