Sleeps 6, 2 bedrooms, 2 luxury bathrooms, 2 queen beds in one bedroom and king size bed in other bedroom. This new mountain cottage is a great place to come and enjoy the scenery, attend horse attractions at F.E.N.C.E. world-class equestrian center, picnic at Chimney Rock, fish at Lake Lure, enjoy the many restaurants that you can walk to in Landrum or take a few minutes drive to Saluda or Tryon to eat. Spend the day antiquing, hiking or just relaxing on the front porch in the rocking chairs.
Temperatures are moderate year round so maybe you don't want to hike, fish, you can enjoy the beautiful fall foliage and the many festivals that go on year round. In June, Tryon hosts (as stated by National Geographic Adventure and Southern Living Magazine) the Blue Ridge Barbeque and Music Festival, Block House Steeplechase in April, two excellent museums housing many Indian artifacts and the House Of Flags is the only place in the nation that displays all 27 of the flags that have been the official stars and strips of our country.
Pearson's Falls, between Tryon and Saluda, is a botanical wonderland of 267 acre of hiking, picnicking, wildlife and the Hollywild Zoo is located 10 minutes from the cottage. This is a petting zoo.
There are four public golf courses within 15 minutes of the cottage. Golfers play year round at links of Tryon, Red Fox Country Club, Village Greene, and Meadowbrook Golf Course.
The cottage is furnished in upscale furnishings, latest high definition tvs, well equipped kitchen with granite countertops, ice maker, great dining area with seated bar. Washer/dryer, telephone, wireless internet, hardwood floors, oriental rugs, 1000 count linens, Lovely drapes, artwork, video library and books for your enjoyment - even puzzles, videos for kids.

We stayed for Jan and Feb.What a wonderful cottage.Very well equipped.Just bring your clothes.Beds are comfortable.Landrum is a sweet place.Lot's of shops and restaurants.All in walking distance.The owner is as lovely and very helpful if needed. We hate to leave.Plan to return.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing.

My daughter and I stayed at this cottage in Landrum for about two weeks. We were in the area for a horse show in Tryon, North Carolina at FENCE which was only a 7 minute drive from the cottage. It was perfect! We were within walking distance to downtown Landrum with all the antique stores and restaurants. The cottage is just adorable and the owners were very accommodating to our every need. We travel each summer to the Tryon horse show and will be sure to book this precious cottage each year.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, girls getaway, families with young children.

We stayed at the cottage from february 24th thru the end of March. This was our 2nd year at this location. We absolutely loved it. You do not need to bring anything but yourselves and be ready for adventure. We enjoyed the golf courses very much, especially Woodfin Ridge. Every where we went we found the people friendly and helpful. Some days we chose to stay at the cottage and relax. It was perfect. We walked to town (landrum) which took only 3 minutes and had nice lunches and dinners. You can also cook dinner at the cottage, everything you need is there. Both my husband and I had medical emergencies and we were pleased with the medical services. We were well taken care of by the medial personal at Greer Medical Ctr. We feel we could never find anything we liked better than this beautiful cottage and plan to go back every year. The owner of this cottage is very nice, helpful, kind and friendly. We spent the month of August, 2011 in this wonderful cottage. What a joy. The cottage is outstanding, the furniture and antiques are so beautiful, it is hard to believe that you are staying in a rental home. We really loved our visit, we could walk into town, we visited with our friends, and enjoyed our stay very much. I highly recommend this beautiful cottage in Landrum, S.C. My 4 girlfriends and I stayed at this beautiful cottage for a girls getaway weekend. It exceeded what we thought it would be like!! The decor is absolutely beautiful. The landscaping was gorgeous also. We all loved it. Everything was spotless when we arrived. Beds were comfortable and kitchen well equipped. I would also highly recommend eating at the Lake Lanier Tea House in Tryon, N.C.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

The outside photo doesn't do this quaint cottage justice. The owner has it furnished to perfection including antiques and rich window coverings and shower curtains. The landscaping gives it a garden touch and made us wish we could have stayed and sat on the porch. The kitchen is more than well equipped, and, of course a flat screen television in every room! We'll definitely go back!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway, sightseeing, people with disabilities, families with young children.
