What to do while you are visiting Panama City..
Visit Pier Park for great shopping & dining, it's the area's newest shopping & dining complex! This new shopping complex offers a great mix of dining & shopping as well as community events & concerts. The Grand Theater offers 16 different movie choices on their state of the art screens. You will enjoy shopping at all of the fashionable specialty shops that line the sidewalks of Pier Park. Some of the great stores to choose from are Blender Clothing, Cache & Chico's.
For dining out Pier Park has a great mix of restaurants for you to choose from. Back Porch Seafood & Oyster House as well as Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville overlook the Gulf of Mexico. You will also find Hofbrau Beer Garden & Guglielmo's Italian Grill at Pier Park, they both offer great dining. If you are up for a game of volleyball you will also find that here too! They have a sand volleyball court adjacent to the events courtyard.
For a cool refreshing day visit Shipwreck Island, they have been entertaining families for over 25 years in Panama City Beach, Florida.

Zoo World has over 250 exotic animals & a beautiful botanical garden. They offer shows year round. It is located a ½ mile east of Wal-Mart Super Center on Front Beach Road.
For a nature based excursion visit Shell Island. You will find a natural, undeveloped island which lies between the Gulf of Mexico and St. Andrews Bay in Panama City Beach. The island is approximately seven miles long & is home to one of the world's highest concentrations of bottle-nosed dolphins.
It is filled with tremendous sand dunes, a fresh water swamp, acres of woods and sugar-white sands. Shell Island offers excellent snorkeling, fishing and secluded beaches. Make sure to take a cooler with you for the day’s snacks & drinks. Shell Island is a great place to find a vacation treasure.
The Frank Brown Sports Complex is located in Panama City which offers a host of recreation opportunities such as tennis courts, soccer fields, aquatic center, softball, football, playground and a freshwater youth fishing pond.
