You will never find a more beautiful mountain get-away! Our sanctuary is pure comfort and stress-free relaxation. It is so cozy and inviting that you would be happy just lounging and enjoying the phenomenally peaceful energy of these amazing surroundings - both inside and out.
The 500 sq. ft. wrap-around deck is covered over the entryway which protects you from the weather when entering the house. The open part of the deck has beautiful sunny mornings and evenings during the longer days of the year.
Building was completed on our cabin in November of 2006 so everything is clean, new and pristine... as are all the stylish furnishings and kitchen appliances.
Located on 3.74 gorgeous forested acres, privacy is a big plus with no other cabins within direct view! Just step right outside the door and you are surrounded by unparalleled beauty. Stroll through the glorious pine forest or take a walk down the road to a lovely mountain lake.
Within the 2360 square feet and 3 levels of high quality finished living space there is a bedroom and full bathroom on each separate level, a main floor great room, a cozy relaxing loft and a large ground level bonus/entertainment room with satellite television.
Featured are gorgeous wooden floors and ceilings as well as impressive massive wooden beams.
BEDROOMS
ALL beds were purchases NEW and are outfitted with warm and cozy genuine down comforters and quality linens. Bedroom layout is as follows:
Master bedroom: 1 king bed
Main floor bedroom: 1 double bed, 1 twin over full futon bunk bed, 1 trundle bed - this bedroom also has a large satellite television with built in DVD and VCR.
Ground level bedroom: 1 queen bed
Ground level TV room: 1 queen size pull-out sofa bed
KITCHEN
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare, cook, and serve a fabulous meal. It includes beautiful granite countertops, tile back splashes and all appliances are clean and new.
The kitchen has a smooth surface range, microwave, double-door refrigerator with water filtration, and dishwasher. Many conveniences such as a toaster oven, blender, coffee maker, and spice rack make playing in the kitchen a joy!
LOCATION
We are located just 3 miles off Highway 9 (at County Road 14) between Fairplay and Alma in the Sun Mountain subdivision. Breckenridge is a short half hour drive over Hoosier pass to world class skiing, shopping and restaurants.
There are also many more activities in the immediate area including fishing, hiking, shopping, bowling, horseback riding, rafting and the old western charms of downtown Fairplay and Alma.

...I know you call it a cabin - but to me it's more a castle! So big... I went skiing and snow shoeing, but FAIRPLAY beat it all! Nice people and "old western" style is so real and human. I understand why you love this place.
