Beautiful condo with everything you would ever need while on vacation. The refrigerator wasn't working properly when we first checked in, but the owners had a repairman check it and a new refrigerator was delivered quickly. Would definitely rent this condo again!

My family had a wonderful time in this condo! it was clean and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed in the kitchen (cookware, utensils, appliances, towels, ice, fridge etc), The extra bath was a nice luxury to have! I think we used that one the most ironically. If you have little ones, bring a small step stool so they can wash their hands easily. We enjoyed all the eating areas (kitchen bar, beautiful granite table and outdoor table). The rooms were so spacious and we never felt cramped. The view was worth a million dollars. The balcony was a great size! We spent a lot of time out there. I loved the plantation shutters and shades in the bedrooms. It made it nice and dark for my kids to sleep well. We loved some of the night lights that were provided as well. The master closet is huge with enough room for a pack and play for babies if you do not want to put it in a bedroom. The iron worked great as did the hair dryers. Great conveniences! Parking was great and convenient on the 8th floor. The location of the building was awesome! Near shopping and groceries. All convenient! The ice maker in the wet bar was a big plus as well as we loaded up the ice chest to bring it on the beach! The added bonus is Mrs. June met us at the condo and showed us around. She was very sweet and welcoming. Thank you for beautiful memories for our family!!!!

This is our 5th year at the Phoenix West, but the 1st time to stay in this condo. It was beautifully decorated and well maintained. June went out of her way to meet us there and get us oriented. We would certainly recommend this condo to a friend.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at gulf shores. I have rented many places, and these owners were top notch. We even left books and they mailed them back!! We could not have been more pleased with our stay. Such a well equipped unit. Not your typical bare bones rental at all! The couch sealed the deal!! Soooo comfy!! Our children loved loved loved the lazy river and shells galore on the beach. Thank you so very much!

We enjoyed our winter in this beautiful condo.... Everything you would ever need is there....Very high quality towels and bed linens plus the kitchen is loaded with everything to cook any meal..The beds are so comfortable. We will be coming back next winter to enjoy this condo and the great views... Many good restaurants close by. We were so happy with the balcony the way it is so private.... If you rent this condo, you won't be disappointed....It is the best and so are the owners with all the personal touches....Love it, it is our second home.....

This is the second time my wife and I have stayed in this condo and it is great. We've stayed at the Phoenix West property atleast two times per year since 2009 but it's the first time we've stayed in a three bedroom unit. We usually stay in a four bedroom unit because of the view you get but this unit is next to the west end four bedroom unit and the view is great. The way this unit is situated, you have privacy on both sides of the balcony which you will not get with any of the other three bedroom units on each floor. One big factor we found and like from staying in this unit instead of the end units is the lack of wind, it is very windy on either end of Phoenix West. The condo unit is decorated fantastically and very comfortable. June has a wonderful eye for decorating and has done a great job. Speaking of June, You will not find a better property owner at Phoenix West to work with. She meets you at the unit and makes sure you have everything you need for your stay. We will absolutely be staying with her again.

This condo was wonderful!! The beds were so super comfortable, the towels so plush, the kitchen was stocked full of everything we needed, having 4 baths was another plus, driving right up to the 8th floor and unloading our cars to the room was wonderful and didn't take much time. The view from balcony was great and so relaxing each morning while drinking coffee. My husband, both of my children, their spouses and my grandson truly enjoyed our stay here. The property was clean and well-maintained, the pictures didn't do the condo justice, and the people there were so friendly. June was so helpful to us and we would like to make this an annual trip. We have already recommended this property to friends. We didn't venture out too far..we ate all of our meals at the condo, we were so worn out after riding the slide, doing the lazy river, pools, beach and building sand castles that we just stayed in and enjoyed the beautiful condo and balcony.

Perfect Vacation Condo

We had a great vacation, mainly because of this wonderful condo. It was clean and beautifully furnished, with a well equipped kitchen. All the bathrooms had a big supply of plush towels. We had other families at Phoenix West with us, and we had by far the nicest condo. The owners were very prompt in answering our questions before we drove down, and they met us at the condo to show us around and answer questions when we arrived. There were no issues with anything and we had a completely hassle free, fun vacation. We would enthusiastically recommend this condo. The condo and the owners deserve a 5 star rating.

I have been vacationing at Gulf Shores for the past 6 years for 2 weeks each summer, but I have never been in a condo that even came close to comparing to this one. It was decorated like a luxurious home. Everything we needed was there and we enjoyed out stay so much.

The condo was absolutely gorgeous.....felt like a house, not a condo. The kitchen and bedrooms were perfect for our family and our friends that traveled with us. We were NEVER crowded. The lazy river and water slide were a huge hit with the kids and the ocean was the clearest we've ever seen during our visits to Orange Beach. The 8th floor was a great location. The owner was very easy to work with and did everything possible to make our stay more enjoyable.....even met us at the condo when we were running a couple of hours behind schedule. We will definitely be back!

Fabulous but livable condo. Convenient location on the property as well as to nearby restaurants and attractions. It was THE perfect place for our 3 generation vacation. Would love to return to this area AND this specific condo again! Highly recommended!

My family including my two kids (ages 10 months and 4 y/o) had the best time at this condo. Mrs. June did an exceptional job decorating this condo...I mean amazing!!! The pictures don't even do it justice. The Pools and the lazy river were perfect temperature and the kids loved them. My 4 year old even went down the slide a few times. Everything was extremely clean and well-maintained. The beach wasn't too crowded this time the year and weather was perfect. Perfect location also!! We plan on staying here again...hopefully soon! Thanks to Mrs. June for her first class service and hospitality!!!

We had a great time in this condo! Plenty of space for our group of 6. The decorations were very nice and beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. LOVED having the ice maker. Also loved being able to park on the same floor as the condo, this made loading/unloading the car much easier without waiting for an elevator. June was a pleasure to work with, she met us at the condo and made sure everything was perfect. We had lots of fun at the lazy river and our little ones enjoyed the kiddie pool and the zero entry pool. Weather was beautiful so never made it to the indoor pool or work out facility. Had a great time at The Hangout, Cosmo's, and Scoops ice cream. Would absolutely stay again.

When I realized I was going to turn 50 over my school's spring break I decided it was a sign to do something special. I decided to go somewhere highly recommended by friends that I had never been to before and fell in love with the beach and weather. I spent months looking at what seemed like 100's of condo's and houses in the Gulf Shores area that would suit my needs for a girls vacation and am very much afraid I have spoiled it for the rest of my trips. This splurge was so worth it but I'm not sure I'll ever find someplace to compare so June's place has me hooked. As said in many reviews I read, the pictures so do not do this place justice. From the minute you enter the unit with the sweeping view of blue water and white sand beaches in front of you to the relaxing jaccuzi in the master bedroom, this place can't be beat. I knew I had come to the right place when June greeted us and we found out she cleaned the place herself because she just didn't "trust the cleaning companies to do it the way she wanted it. As someone who is very picky about accomadations, I couldn't have felt more at home if I had tried...I only WISH my home was this luxurious. June was wonderful to work with and the property itself was also beautiful. The pool and lazy river were wonderful but nothing beat renting the chairs at the beach for 3 days and doing nothing but reading, playing in the surf and staring at the water. We took a dolpin cruise which was great, although it was just as fun to see them from your balcony early in the morning! Loved Bahama Bob's coconut shrimp, Tacky Jack's breakfast, and a Bushwhacker, a frozen drink to die for.

Another wonderful winter in Sam and June's condo. This condo is decorated and furnished so beauifully. I can't even imagine any place that would be better. My husband says if we stay in Orange Beach, "This is the condo we will be in". Sam and June are such gracious and kind people. June was always checking on us by email to see if we needed anything in our over 3 month stay. Many of our friends (also staying at Phoenix West) saw this condo and said it was the best one they had seen. We loved the view of the Gulf, the indoor pool, the lazy river, the fitness center and enjoyed watching the sunrise and sunset. Many days we would watch the dolphins from the balcony.. We enjoyed cooking in the condo with everything that we needed . Of course, we did too much eating out with all the great restaurants close by.... June greets you when you arrive making you feel so welcommed. She takes great pride in keeping the condo looking brand new. Her previous renters have treated this condo as their own and have left it in great condition...If you rent this condo, you will not be disappointed... We have rerented for next winter and look forward to another great time...Thanks, June, for everything...

We spent 6 unbelievable nights in condo. June bent over backwards to accomadate us. Pictures can do this condo no justice, from the decor to the beds it was a week that me and my family will never forget. We enjoyed a night out at Cosmos eatery and a fun filled trip to Flora/Bama. My family and I spent 7 days in paradise. The Condominium was beyond our wildest dream. The furnishings were spectacular. Beds were most comfortable with the memory foam mattresses. Appliances were top of the line. All bedrooms with televisions made for relaxing times. Because of a Topical Storm we spent 2 days in the Condo. Because of the design and furnishings it provided a welcome rest period.

After reviewing many condos before we rented, we opted for this beautiful, spacious condo. It sits on the 8th floor (perfect for the parking garage that lets you off right at the door almost,) perfect view of the beach & pool (not too high, not too low) and the condo pictures DO NOT do it justice. It is incredible. We had 6 adults and one child. There was PLENTY of room and storage for all of us. June is very gracious and accomodating. Do not look any further. You won't find ANYTHING that compares.

What a fantastic vacation getaway!!!! We had a wonderful time in Orange Beach. My family has traveled to the Orange Beach/Fort Morgan area for the past 7 years and this trip was by far the most memorable. The Condo went above and beyond our expectations. From the decor to the view from the balcony to the very comfortable beds - we could not have asked for more. The kids enjoyed the beach along with the Lazy River pool. We hope to return to this condo next year and the year after that...A definite MUST stay in Orange Beach, AL.

What a wonderful vacation. This was the first time visiting Orange Beach, AL. I honestly didn't know very much about Orange Beach, but what I had heard from friends. I found Sam and June's condo on VRBO and was so amazed how beautiful the place looked. Let me tell you, the condo was just as beautiful as the pictures showed. June met me at the condo. She is absoulutely great. Very friendly and really takes pride in her condo. She had decorated it so nice w/ top notch furnishing. I was so surprised that the kitchen was fully furnished as well. Everything we needed. As for the poperty, my kids loved the beach, pool and slide. This place is great for families. It was busy, but never had a problem finding a place to sit at the pool. My only complaint would be that somtimes the pool was not fully cleaned. As for local restaurants, we found some wonderful spots for fresh seafood and sushi. I would recommend Cosmos, Harbour House, and Island Tyme. I think I gained 10 lbs!! So if your planning on visiting Orange Beach, I would highly recommend renting this unit!!! You will not be disappointed.

We enjoyed our stay at Sam and June's condo very much. It was beautifully appointed and spacious. The pictures do not do it justice. Phoenix West is geared toward families, so bear that in mind to ensure that it fits your requirements. We had three children under the age of 10 with us, and all thoroughly enjoyed the pool, lazy river, and the slide, in addition to the gorgeous beach. The owners are wonderful - they gave us info on anything from where the bedding was purchased (REALLY nice) to their favorite restaurants. We look forward to returning!

Best vacation in years

Our one week stay in your condo was marvelous! It is decorated beautifully and well stocked with towels, kitchen appliances, dishes, etc. The condo is well maintained as is the entire building. We had a lot of fun in the lazy river, pool, sliding board and beach. It was very convenient being able to park on the 8th floor so that we could load and unload easier. In a previous stay, we were on the 23rd floor and had to haul everything up and down elevators. While we were there we went parasailing, deep sea fishing, took a trip to an amusement park, ate at several nice restaurants. For an inexpensive but tasty meal, try Hazel's which is about one mile east of the condo. When we cooked meals, we had everything we needed at our finger tips. We're hoping to come back next year so you may be hearing from us in the next few months. Thanks for your hospitality, June. Hope to see you again.

what a wonderful condo, couldnt have ask for anything more. the condo made the vacation very enjoyable. it was really nice to have a real person show you the condo and june couldnt have been nicer thru-out the whole process. definately would advise you to stay there for your vacation. parking on the same floor was great, the pools were wonderful and easy to get to, and the beach also. the time just went by too fast. what a wonderful place to have your family memories grow.

We have stayed in many beautiful condos and I must say this is the BEST...From the fine furnishings to the luxurious bedding, everything is the best quality... Every convenience is here...After staying 2 1/2 months in this fabulous, spotlessly clean condo, we just had to rebook for next winter in our "home away from home". Working with Sam & June was a pleasure... Arriving before Christmas, we were thrilled to see a beautiful Christmas tree that June had brought in for us plus the live plants in this condo.. Phoenix West is a very well kept, almost new building with many amenities. Coffee in the atrium was a plus for my husband..where he met many nice people... See you next winter... Top to bottom...this is the finest unit my family has ever stayed in at Orange Beach or at any other beach property. Every amenity you need plus more...superbly decorated. The covered parking allows you to drive up to the 8th floor and unload and walk right into the unit. Pool and grill area are outstanding. I don't think you can find a better unit on Orange Beach than this one. I have already recommended it to several of my friends.

The Phoenix West is a wonderful place to stay. Everything was very clean and well kept. My family and I really enjoyed the lazy river, pools, hot tubs and also the beautiful beach. As for the condo it was so beautifully decorated, very clean, and very well maintained. As the week went on we met a few people also stay at the Phoenix West,.They were not very pleased with there condos. We all enjoyed being in the condo if it were for cooking in the spacious kitchen, relaxing in the beautiful living room or the large balcony with awesome views of the lazy river ,pool ,beach and gulf. The beds are very comfortable and I enjoyed the large jetted tub in the master bathroom. My family and I hope to vacation here again next summer. It was truly a wonderful stay here in this condo. The owner was up front and honest about the oil spill consequences. I'm very happy that we didn't cancel our trip because of the oil. There was so much to do including enjoying the beach, even though we didn't swim in the gulf. The property was the most beautiful I've ever stay in, just as it was advertised. The lobby, grounds, and hallways were attractive and safe to be in. The security at the condo was always there to enforce the rules, and this made us feel safe about the operation of the lazy river and water slide. Noone would be disappointed in choosing this condo for their vacation. The owner met me personally to open the property, explain the layout, and called during the week to check for any needs we might have. The deposit was returned to us within the next week after our return.

Our stay over the Memorial Day weekend was the perfect way to start the summer. The condo is lovely and was very comfortable for our family group. The owners are most accommodating and made us feel very much at home; although I don't have real orchid plants in my own home!! Fortunately the oil spill was not evident, but with a water slide, lazy river, outdoor/indoor pool, and excercise room who needs the beach. We even grilled dinner several evenings. Thanks for a delightful stay --we'll come again.

We spent 5 days in this awesome property located directly on the beach. I spent about 3 weeks researching every property in Orange Beach before I picked this one...and I was not disappointed. June had the place absolutely spotless and we actually felt bad bringing 4 kids ages 5-2 into this show home. The pictures do not do the place justice. The owner's designer touches can be seen in every room of the condo. The TV set-ups with DVD players in separate rooms made entertaining kids a breeze. We were there 3 weeks after the oil spill and never felt any of the effects. (That could of been because all of the kids wanted to stay in the lazy river, slide, and indoor pool) I would definitely consider this place again for my next family vacation.

Beautiful condo....all the extras! We will definately be back. The pools were gorgeous, lazy river was fun, and the water slide was a big hit with the kids.

As snowbirds we are finishing our 6 week stay at the most beautiful condo on Orange Beach. Sunrise and sunset views are gorgeous. June has provided every detail to make our stay snug and comfortable. We especially enjoyed the mood lighting in the evenings after busy days on the Gulf. We had some cooler days in February but we enjoyed the indoor pool and fitness center. We met so many nice folks also staying at Phoenix West. By far, the best condo we have rented in the past six years.

We spent New Year's 2010 in this condo and had a wonderful time. The condo is exquisitely decorated and had a perfect view! The owners were very accommodating and take excellent care of their condo. Check out Cobalt restaurant during your stay! Thanks again - we had an awesome time!

Wonderful time!!! The condo was beautiful. So refreshing and relaxing to not stay in the "typical" peach and seafoam green beach condo. It felt and looked like home! The kids loved the lazy river and the slide. The adults did, too!!! Looking forward to returning next year. Thanks again!

This was a PERFECT get-a-way! The condo was amazing, I wouldn't even know where to start at the compliments. Beautiful decor, comfortable and NO white wicker furniture and pink and blue ocean decor!!! Loved having coffee on the patio, weather was perfect, and I had the most relaxing time laying on the beach, reading my book while my husband and son napped! We will be back. Our three families stayed in your fabulous condo mid-August. We had a wonderful vacation and felt so comfortable in your beautiful property. There was plenty of space for nine people to move around without feeling crowded. We enjoyed several shrimp boils in the terrific kitchen. Our kids loved the two pools and lazy river. Nights were comfy and cozy in the ultra-comfortable beds. We highly recommend catching the Blue Angels practice at the Naval Air Museum in Pensacola and catching a dolphin cruise. Our favorite restaurants are Mcquires in Pensacola, LuLu's on the Intercoastal, and Hazels. We definitely want to return next year - the kids keeping asking if we can go back to "802". Thanks so much!

Thank you so much June for sharing your condo with us! We stayed there the week of 8-1 thru 8-8 and had a wonderful time. Our kids (15, 14 & 6) loved the lazy river and having their own TV's and bathrooms. The beds were awesome! As far as restaurants, we would recommend Big O's, Zeke's and Desoto's. For entertainment we really liked horse back riding at Sea Horse Stables, parasailing at Chute Em Up (with Captain Jack) and The Track (especially the wooden track). Overall it was a very pleasent time for all of us in which wonderful and long lasting memories were had by all! Thanks again and God's blessings! C. Barker & Family
