Situated on Trail Creek, the setting is so special. Just a short walk to town for restaurants, shopping and more. Also within walking distance of the Sun Valley Lodge where the owner enjoys privileges to use the tennis courts, pools etc. which can be transferred to renters upon request. Tremendous views of Baldy and the surrounding mountains.
The spacious patio has a outdoor fireplace for entertaining. There is also a hot tub on the patio facing the world famous Bald Mountain. The home has been professionally decorated with custom furnishings for the discriminating guests. The great room offers a wonderful four sided fireplace for those chilly nights with ample seating for guests. This is a true mountain retreat in every way.
Note that there is a mother in law unit with a queen bed and kitchenette and separate entry that can be included in the rental upon request.

Why the Owner Chose Ketchum
Property is walking distance to the town of Ketchum and to the Sun Valley Lodge. Close to local transportation. Close and yet it feels isolated and you do not see any neighbors from the yard.
The Unique Benefits of this House
The house is huge and with 2 king beds, 2 queens and a loft area for kids (with a double and 3+ twin beds) it can house many people. Each room has its own bathroom. A mother in law unit with a queen bed and kitchenette and separate entry is available upon request. There are 3 different TV/video areas so it is very kid friendly.

Our family has been renting fabulous homes in the Sun Valley area for 7 years and this home is the best by far. We made feasts in the magnificently large kitchen, had great conversations around the fireplace and lots of fun working on a puzzle (had the right table for that too!) while watching football in the cozy family room. This home has stunning views out every window in every well designed and beautifully decorated room. Our married children loved the privacy of each bedroom. We felt right at home the moment we arrived and so appreciated how easy it was to work with the owners and caretakers. My husband could often be found relaxing on the chaise (with his ipad) in the master bedroom looking out at Baldy with an adorable 3 year old granddaughter on his lap. What could be better???? With just a short walk into Ketchum, our whole family enjoyed the location. We want to keep this house as our great "find" because we plan on renting it year after year.

This house absolutely exceeds its description. Each bedroom has its own theme and is situated on its own level with bath, providing ultimate privacy. The house is really spacious, but it feels cozy and inviting due to the layout and lovely decor. The architecture is outstanding, and the views of Baldy are exceptional. We came for a family wedding in Ketchum in September - this house turned out to be everyone's favorite meeting spot that week, offering so many different areas to gather - in the big well-equipped kitchen, by the patio firepit, out by the stream, near the huge 4 sided fireplace, or in one of the multiple family rooms on different levels. Everything was clean and in good working order, with a caretaker nearby in case of emergency. The location is great, near town, but secluded. Basically, it was perfect, and the owner is very easy to communicate with. Highly recommend it!
