Pane Makai is located on a quiet dead end at Poipu Beach. This lovely Poipu home has fabulous ocean views from the upstairs balcony, is family friendly and is designed to enhance what this amazing island has to offer. If you choose to cook at home, there are 2 fully equipped kitchens and BBQ grills onsite. The home is large enough to sleep 14. There are 4 bedrooms and 2 optional sleeping areas. The home has 4 full bathrooms, 2 upstairs living room and 2 downstairs great rooms. There are fabulous views of the Pacific Ocean from the upstairs balcony. Large and numerous windows allow the island sun to penetrate the home. The interior colors are light and inviting with tropical décor throughout.
A historic lava rock wall surrounds the property on three sides. Monkey Pod trees and tropical foliage provide a privacy barrier around the home. There is a large grass yard to stretch out in or have a picnic or BBQ.
LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION!! How close to the beach is it? If you sat on a skateboard in the drive way and exited the property towards the beach (only way to go at this dead end street) you would be launched in to the sand at Brennecke's Beach in less than 60 seconds! Not recommended! There are dive shops, activity huts, surf board and snorkel rental as well as great shopping within a five minute walk.

We were so happy with this property. There was just four of us (2 couples) and this townhouse was spacious and comfortable. This property could easily accommodate many more people - we counted room for 18 with the beds and futons, but I think that would be too many people. Up to four couples would be very comfortable. Kalapaki Joe's is right next door but there was no noise from the bar being so close. Brenneke's was a 5 minute walk and it was nice to have another bar/restaurant close. Brenneke's also has a cafe/convenience store/excursion desk, which came in handy. Staying in Poipu was great because it reduced the time to get to either side of the island and is only 30-45 minutes from the airport (depending on traffic).
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, tourists without a car, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, age 55+.

The Turtle or Dolphin suite is the place to stay in Poipu. One block to great body surfing, swimming and snorkeling. The house was clean, well-equipped, in great condition and well furnished. Josh and Patrick - the property managers were responsive and extremely helpful. A restaurant is within walking distance in case you don't feel like cooking. This place has everything you need for a great, relaxing holiday. I highly recommend it - you won't be disappointed! ...(AS SEEN ON TRIP ADVISOR)

We loved the house. It was so close to poipu beach. There was a great ocean view from the 2nd floor lanai and again, the house is close enough to the ocean that we could hear the surf crashing. The house is fully stocked with things that you might need and that make your stay more comfortable. We were very sad to see our vacation come to an end. . .

This is paradise , everything you need is here and more. Tasteful , thoughtful , caring and generous. Spend the days lazing between the ocean calm gentle waters, surfing the break on the right of the Poipu beach , perfect for long board , or snorkelling with turtles. Then wander back and unwind in a huge bath , cook a lovely meal with produce from the farmers market or stroll next door to the local spot for a great meal and cocktail. I found paradise and I am coming back. Thanks Josh and Crew for the best accomadation in the world at the best price . The house as spotless and comfortable and you helped us with anything we needed with a generousity beyond what is expected . I have travelled a lot and THIS is the best ever ! I want to stay .... let me know if you ever need a house sitter ! or caretaker , I would give up my job.
