Other amenities include: art galeries, theatres, golf courses, aeroplane gliding, canoe and kayak rentals on Waterbury Lake, fishing, horse back riding. The 5 mile Recreational path for walking, biking and roller blading with picnic stops, starts at the quaint village and meanders through the forest and alongside the scenic river towards Mt. Fabulous week in Stowe
Fabulous week in Stowe
We really enjoyed our week at this propoerty. Prior to our arrival, the owner was very responsive to questions and provided helpful tips about the property and the town. We loved that this is an end unit as it feels more private. There is a nice view of an open field (beautiful moon-rise) in one direction and the golf course in another. The condo included everything we could need without being 'fussy' or over decorated. Perfect for our family with more than enough beds and 2 bathrooms. The pool is very walkable from this unit (5 minutes tops). The complex itself is right off the bike path and bike-able into the town. It's a quick drive up to the mountain activities, and the front desk gave us a very nice discount coupon for the Stowe activities. We enjoyed a fabulous week of hiking, biking, canoeing, and touring. Also got into Burlington and truly enjoyed Shelburne Farms. This condo provided a great place to rest after busy and fun days. Thanks so much!

Manager response: Jennifer, thank you so much for taking the time for this down to earth and simple explanation of our house and Stowe in general - much appreciated. Kind regards, Ron and Bea MacDonald
Pillows not good
Pillows not good
The property is showing it's age. The kitchen was nor equipped with everything we needed. The pillows were tiny and uncpomfortable. The heat was erratic. The pool was not within walking distance. The location is great. It's very close to the sking and the village. The people who checked us in were very friendly and helpful. We used a discount coupon they gave us and saved about $30 in a local eatery. It's really a good value. I would recommend this property for a small group looking for basic lodging.

Manager response: Hi Matt, So sorry to read that all was not to your liking. On our house rentals, about 10 in all, we have never found a kitchen as well equipped and neatly organised - I wonder what was missing? Re; the bed pillows, there are spare pillows in the cabinet. Also, a simple call to the office would have produced more pillows if needed and whatever was missing in the kitchen. Before you reserved you asked how far was the pool from the house and I told you 200 yards. The heating was erratic. Maybe it was due to excessive adjustments of the thermostat and maybe the cathedral ceiling - with the gas log fire on also you could melt. Thank you for your other comments, much appreciated. Ron and Bea MacDonald.
Excellent location and value!
Excellent location and value!
My husband and I took our kids to Stowe for a week and stayed in this condo. The location is absolutely perfect - close to all restaurants and shops, and only a few minute drive to the slopes. It is bright and cheerful with a terrific layout. Additionally, its one of the few townhouse complexes that are level with the ground, making packing and unpacking a lot easier with all of the winter gear, etc. The owners were wonderful to deal with and the office staff is very helpful and accommodating. Will definitely stay there again.

Hope to Return.
We have rented lots of vacation homes and consider ourselves very knowledgeable. In this house, some of the furnishings are showing their age but this place had to be the neatest and cleanest we’ve stayed in. The kitchen is very well equipped, the beds are comfortable. What we were told is what we got, the photos clearly displayed what we got and the owner was very helpful. The price quoted is the price, there are no hidden charges whatsoever and this is unusual for any rental home. A big Thank you to the Owner.

Manager response: Much appreciated - thank you.
I spent the week here last fall with my husband and two other couples. We had a wonderful time, and the place was very comfortable. It is very spacious with two full bathrooms and full kitchen amenities. The fall colors on from the scenery from this place were outstanding. It looks right out onto the gold course and is very private and quiet. The actual location was ideal for walks to the village or trips up the famous Mount Mansfield. I highly recommend visiting, price is well worth the visit.

Thank ou for a great vacation
Thank ou for a great vacation
My husband and I have been to your time share twice now with friends, once in the winter to ski and once in the early fall and can't wait to come back again. The restaurants are wonderful, although a bit expensive, well worth it and there are so many recreational activities, mountain hiking and biking along the rec. path, at no charge that we splurge on our meals. Your unit is beautifully maintained and the staff are so helpful, I thought you should know that you did a wonderful job at providing us a great holiday!
