Three friends and I stayed in this property for a "Girls' Getaway" to NYC and loved it! The apartment was wonderful and just as advertised. We had a wonderful experience with the owner(s) and all agreed we would stay there again and recommend it to friends. As a fellow VRBO owner (355839; 239762), I have high standards and all of my expectations were met or exceeded. No more hotels for us in NYC!

large apartment close to everything

The apartment has a great location that is close to transit, Central Park, Whole Foods, wine store, Theatre district...everything. We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the bedrooms. We were travelling with 2 adults and 2 teenagers, and appreciated the space to relax at the end of our busy day.

3 women on business/pleasure trip couldn't have been more delighted with this unit. Exactly as pictures show - even seems larger when you're in it. It's huge! Not only for Manhattan, but anywhere! Plenty of linens, sparkling clean, comfortable up-to-date furniture. Certainly will try to book it again for trip with family or friends.

This apartment was beautifully appointed, clean and comfortable. It was within walking distance to all of the shows we went to and shopping. We were close to the subway to do our other shopping downtown and that was great. We even found a catholic church around the corner that was beautiful for mass. There were a couple of local grocery stores that were nice. There is a Whole Foods but it was not as well appointed as those in other towns, so we used the neighborhood stores and had more success. Overall it was a wonderful experience and we would certainly stay again when we travel to NYC.

Recommended for:Tourists without a car, sightseeing.

The location and amenities offered by this suite were fantastic for this family of four (which included an adult child and an aunt). Importantly the whole booking process and the support offered by Lisa were excellent. Cannot recommend highly enough - and have recommended already

What a pleasant stay in the most perfect location within Manhattan. We chose to stay in West 57th because of the location, size and price. It's a jewel which the hotels would certainly want kept as a secret. We were on a business trip and appreciated not having to deal with hotel check in, tourists, and crazy guests. Staying at West 57th was precisely what we needed, it was quiet, with a fully equipped kitchen, TV's in each room, free wi fi and CLEAN BATHROOMS! We loved and enjoyed our stay! and would highly recommend this apt to anyone visiting NYC who does not want to deal with the madness of a hotel stay. We will be back!

We were all very pleased with the apartment, everything was clean, plenty of linen's and a well equipped kitchen. We loved the location close to everything including the whole food store, subway, cab or bus. There were six of us staying in the apartment we all had plenty of room felt like home. We are looking forward to next year already can't wait.

The apartment exceeded our expectations for cleanliness and had all the amenities we required. The location was ideal, located at Columbus Circle within walking distance of Time Square, Central Park, shopping and subway stops. We loved Whole Foods located in the Time Warner building across the street on West 58th street and prepared most of our breakfasts and lunches in the apartment giving us the opportunity to enjoy dinner at many of the fine restaurants located in the area.

Perfect Apartment in a Perfect Location

Being new to NYC, there were five of us ladies who were hoping to find the apartment as advertised, and we were not disappointed! It was a perfect location, within walking distance of everything...Central Park, Whole Foods, the double decker tour bus, theaters, Broadway, Times Square, Hell's Kitchen, John's Pizzeria and Ess-A-Bagel. The furnishings were very comfortable, plenty of room for everyone to sit down and relax after a long day of sight seeing, and the beautiful kitchen was well stocked. We all agreed that we would definitely stay here on a return trip, which won't be soon enough.

We just returned from our week in the city and found this apartment to be an excellent choice for us (2 adults and 3 teen kids) as it was comfortable, well appointed and centrally located with the benefit of the subway within a block of the apartment. The lobby staff was not only courteous but helpful as well. We also greatly appreciated the "customer service" we received from the management team (Monica, Kiera & Lisa) and plan to rent this unit or another during our next NYC visit.

Our family of four adults and two teenagers stayed at apartment 12D for eight nights at the reduced rate which worked out well for us. The location was ideal as it is centrally located next to many subway trains, Central Park for strolls, Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt (yum), and a variety of grocery stores which eliminated the need to haul all our groceries on the subway trains. The women at Studio 57 were very accommodating, helpful, and attentive to our needs from booking through final checkout. The bed linens were luxurious and there were ample bath towels. It also has a very nice remodeled kitchen with stainless appliances. We found the doormen of the building to be very friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend staying here!

The apartment we rented completely met our expectations. The apartment was very clean and organized. All appliances were easy to use. The location of the apartment was outstanding! We were able to walk everywhere from there. Subway station was also right there. We really liked the door man. He made us feel very welcome and was very helpful when we needed directions or recommendations. In addition, the laundry facilities were convenient, fast and clean. We would definitely stay there again if the apartment were available.

Nightmare on Columbus Circle

Avoid this place!!! From the not-so-faint stench of urine that greets you as you step off the elevator, to the loudly creaking, "roll-to-the-middle" king sized mattress and totally non-functional internet connection, this place was at best "tired". The "management" knows the internet connection doesn't work but continues to advertise it. I had to schedule a cable tech sevice call myself! And they even expected me to waste my time waiting for the no-show Time Warner Cable guy. The location may be good, but you would be far better off at any number of hotels in the area...for about the same price.

We were two couples and three teenagers and stayed there for a week last winter (01/22/10-01/28/10). We could´t be happier with the apartment. Everything from the kitchen and the towels to the location, the laundry service and the appliances were perfect. We could go anywhere walking as everything was close and the subway was just one block away from the apartment. We´d recommend it for anyone who wishes to spend a wonderful time at NYC. We´d love to come back soon.

Great last minute experience

We ended up renting this unit at the last minute and we are so glad we did. Our first rental flaked out on us at the last minute and we feel it was a blessing. Kiera, Lisa & Monica were extremely helpful and the transaction went without a hitch. We would definitely rent from them again.
