This beautiful post and beam home has high ceilings, an open concept and offers a gorgeous view of Northumberland Strait. The main floor has two bedrooms with queen beds, full bath and a large screen HDTV. The upstairs loft has a master suite that includes a bathroom with shower, a king size bed and flat screen TV. All beds feature soft cotton sheets and down duvets. Big soft towels await you as you step out of the bath or shower. Our home is tastefully decorated with local art and has a well equipped kitchen that will handle most needs of those that love to cook at home.
It is situated on a quiet and secluded 2 1/2 acre lot that will ensure a private and relaxing environment. On those stay in days, you may want to start a fire in the wood stove and enjoy its soothing warmth.
Relax on the deck and enjoy the warm sun while the steaks are sizzling on the grill and lobsters are boiling in the pot. In the evening you will want to pour a glass of wine, sit out on the deck, feel the warm ocean breezes and enjoy the gorgeous sunsets.
There is lots to visit in the area and each days outing will provide a new adventure. Enjoy day trips to Cape Breton or possibly an overnight getaway to Prince Edward Island. We are a short 15 minute drive into Antigonish or a little further down the road is New Glasglow. During the summer make sure you get to Boyds at Ballantynes Cove for the best fish and chips you have ever had.
There is wonderful beach down the road at Airsaig where kids will love to play as the tide rolls out and exposes treasures in the sand. The provincial park at Airsaig has great hiking trails that will take you through the woods and down to the shore.
