There are lots of villas on Hilton Head Island to rent, but our Villa (Aurora Villa) has some great advantages: The entire frot of the exterior of OceanWalk has just been renovated. It looks fantastic.
ACCOMMODATIONS: Aurora Villa located on the 4th floor of Ocean Walk. You can enjoy the breathtaking view of the indoor pool through the glass windowed elevator as you ascend. There are two master bedroom suites each with a full bath and a wonderful view of the outdoor pools. The Villa also features a large living room and dining area with a fully equipped kitchen. For your added convenience and comfort a washer and dryer are provided,and a Murphy bed is available in the office/den. All furnishings are luxurious down to the leather sleep sofa and oil paintings on the walls. Aurora Villa easily sleeps six comfortably. You can NOT find a better location or a more exquisite place to spend your vacation time.
LOCATION: Aurora Villa is across the street from the best beach on Hilton Head Island (South Forrest Beach). In addition, we're less than half a mile from famous Coligny Plaza for all your shopping and grocery needs. Some of the island’s best restaurants and nightlife activities are only minutes away.
ACTIVITIES: Besides being near the best beach on the island, Ocean Walk Villas has two private pools and tennis courts. Ocean Walk has one of the very few indoor pools in South Forest Beach. You'll love being only steps from some of the most beautiful bike and walking trails in the country. Bike rentals, kites, sightseeing and golf are all close to our location. We can assist you in making reservation for golf and include it in the rental package. Inside the condo we have three new cable HD-TVs, The TV in the living room has cable provided HD. DVD player, wireless internet and games available.
LUXURY: Why go somewhere worn out when you can stay at our Aurora Villa for less? Aurora Villa has just gone through major remodeling. We updated our Villa with 18" ceramic flooring, beautiful hard surface (granite) counter tops in the kitchen and both baths and beautiful furniture. You can have all this and only be minutes from the ocean (less than a 5 minute walk).
SAFETY: OceanWalk Villas only allows access into the building through the lobby where you gain access with your electronic key (Fob). In addition, the indoor pool is located in the atrium with only guests having access.
SPACE: Most two bedrooms on the island are about 1000 square feet and some are even less than 900! Ours is one of the largest two bedrooms available at 1270 square feet. It's easy to feel the difference when you can move through the villa easily. In addition to the Queen beds in each Master Suite and a queen sized leather sleep sofa (with 5” innerspring mattress) in the living room we now have an office/den with a full size Murphy bed. These amenities will give you plenty of room for the whole family.

Aurora Villa is unique with it's large indoor heated swimming pool and spa to enjoy all year long. This is first only to our ability to walk the short one block to the most beautiful beach on the island. There is something for all seasons, more than 50 miles of biking is only steps from the building. You can even ride bikes on the beach. The ocean stays warm until late fall. We even see children in the ocean in November. Christmas time in Hilton Head is spectacular with all the palm trees and entrance ways decorated for Christmas

We are Mitch and Betty Sue Ratliff. Upon reading our Love Story listed in part here you will know a little something about us. It is our pleasure in life to serve our Lord Jesus Christ and to serve our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. Here is part of our story. “Mitch a retired U.S. Navy man relocated to Roanoke Virginia with his wife of 30 years. His wife became very ill shortly after their arrival and was hospitalized with the diagnosis of terminal liver cancer. Betty Sue, a widow and a nurse working at the cancer center became acquainted with Mitch’s wife by being her nurse and conducting bible studies with her. When Mitch’s wife realized that she would not survive, she urged him to marry again, and suggested that he consider someone like Betty Sue. After his wife passed away, Mitch was deeply depressed. His daughter who also knew Betty Sue through the bible study urged him to communicate with her since she was also depressed about the loss of her husband. With much hesitation, Mitch & Betty Sue finally met for coffee. It was at this point that The Lord intervened. After a short romance their hearts were united and Aurora (new beginning) was created for them. God is good.”
Our union has prospered now for 16 years during which time we have dedicated ourselves to serving the Lord. Our home (Aurora Manor) in Bedford County Virginia was built ten years ago and is dedicated to servings God’s people. The primary focus is on providing a place for traveling missionaries and their families. Although it’s proximity to Liberty University has generated a ministry to the University students particularly those who have goals to become missionaries. We are now looking to see what the Lord will have us do in South Carolina.

You are such a pleasure to work with. Our week in your villa was great. You have decorated beautifully and thought of so many extras to save the day from zip log baggies to power surge protectors. Aurora Villa was a great place to stay for our family. It is beautifully decorated and had everything that we needed for an awesome week on Hilton Head Island. With only a 5 minute walk to the beach, it was a perfect location. The indoor and outdoor pools were a great plus, too.
