The location of the unit, the photos and the VRBO listing were accurate and all as promised. The panoramic view of the ocean offered from both the living room and the bedroom was fantastic. The property is clean and well maintained. The owners Tom and Gale were helpful and available to answer questions and assist in settling in. All amenities are close by - just a few steps from the beach as well as the pool and a wonderful spa, Various activities and tours are available in the vicinity (we would recommend the Sky-Line Zip-Line!) . We particularly enjoyed morning walks to sample the goods at the nearby flea market as well as the "Bad-Ass Coffee" store and ending the day with a glass of wine enjoying the sunset from the lanai. We recommend this property and plan on staying here again soon!

This condo is exactly as advertised and more. Words cannot describe the view from Gale and Tom's lanai. The master bedroom is so close to the ocean that the waves sing you to sleep every night. With stairs right outside the door and an elevator a few steps away, it's like having your own private entrance. Snorkeling off the beach is excellent and both scuba and surfing are taught on the property. There is also a massage therapist available on the beach to work away the stress of the mainland. Just north of the Kaanapali resorts, access into the complex is easy (and the awesome Maui Brewing Company Brewpub is just a few minutes north in Kahana).

A spectacular view from the lanai, where we enjoyed morning coffee, whale watching, and beautiful sunsets. The condo was just as pictured, comfortable and clean, and the pools and grounds were just lovely. We had the best time and highly recommend a stay here. The owners, Gale and Tom, were very friendly and helpful with all our questions or concerns. We went whale watching 3 times out of Lahaina (a short drive away) as well as shopping, and dining there as well. A Wonderful trip that ended too soon. We will be back again. Mahalo Gale and Tom.

We have stayed at many different units at Kaanapali Shores and this is by far the best place that we have rented. The location is ideal, it is directly in front of the beach and faces away from the pool. I miss sitting on the lanai every night watching the amazing sunsets. The owners, Tom and Gale, were awesome! They went out of their way to make our vacation enjoyable. Next time we head to Maui, we will definitely try to stay here!

We stayed in this unit over the Christmas and New Year's Break. Words and pictures cannot describe the views. Our kids love whale watching every morning! The grounds of The Shores are beautiful and our kids loved both pools and the Beach.This made our trip very relaxing! We will return for another visit for sure! This is the best view unit in the whole place.

We returned again for our 4th stay and it was again fabulous. It was, as always, neat and clean with all the luxuries. The many, many hours on the lanai taking in the best view in Maui has become a family tradition. Then to walk down to our car, grab the scuba gear and walk right into the ocean, what could be better! We'll be returning soon, as we always have! This is an AAAAA+ vacation!

Absolutely outstanding condo! Exactly as described. View is spectacular and completely unobstructed. Fully stocked with everything you will need for the stay. Condo is very clean. Just steps to the beach!! Beach is clean and gently sloped with lounge chairs. Gale (owner) is a delight to work with on the planning. Her communication is excellent and timely. When I return to Maui I will definitely seek the use of this condo!! Exceeded my expectations.
