  My husband and I just returned from staying at Gale and Tom's condo and thoroughly enjoyed it! It not only lived up to our expectations but exceeded them! Gale was a pleasure to work with and we are looking forward to staying at their wonderful property again! We were advised that we would be able to do some whale watching from our lanai, but we had NO idea how many we would see and how close they would be. We would have been perfectly content just sitting on the lanai all day watching those amazing creatures. I contacted Gale before we even left Maui to make our reservations for next year! Worth every penny that we spent. Thanks again Gale and Tom!!!

  This is what I wrote last year after we stayed: "Great condo. Beautifully appointed. Perfect location. 5 stars out of 5. Would certainly stay here again." We did stay again this January, and the condo had even more amenities than last year. Again, Gale was great to work with, and the management company was very prompt in addresing a few minor needs. I would encourage anyone contemplating a stay at this resort, to rent this condo through VRBO.

  What a wonderful condo! The view is fantastic! Gale was very helpful and her suggestions on excursions were right on. We actually had a rainbow everyday! The condo was clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed ourselves and relaxed. It was surely needed. We will see you again next year. Thanks again for the use of your beautiful condo!

  I would highly recommend Gale and Tom’s condo on Maui to anyone interested in a relaxing vacation in Kaanapali. We stayed there 5 nights in August and we had 2 adults and 3 teenage girls in our party. We found there was ample room in the condo for all of us, as well as plenty of activities in the area to keep everyone happy. The Kaanapali Shores resort is easy to find just off the main road, and convenient to the airport, Lahaina, shopping, Kapalua, and other points north and south. There are restaurants and shops as well as a well-stocked grocery store right across the street. Parking in the resort is plentiful and we had no trouble finding a spot close to the elevators and stairs that lead up to unit 361. The location of the condo and the views from the balcony and master bedroom are fantastic, and the beach out front of the condo is amazing. I can promise you won’t want to leave once you get there. The resort grounds are well-maintained, and I loved being able to get a latte from the kiosk in the lobby in the mornings. The hotel staff in the resort were very friendly and helpful, and willing to book reservations for snorkel tours, etc, as needed. In fact they reserved our tickets to the Ulalena performance, which we really enjoyed and found to be a nice alternative to going to a luau -- fewer calories too. The condo was well stocked and the only thing we really needed to bring of our own was a few clothes, sunscreen, and groceries; everything else was taken care of. I would definitely stay in unit 361 again. Many thanks to Gale and Tom for giving us the opportunity to enjoy this wonderful spot on Maui.

  Photos and video don't do justice to just how beautiful this place really is. From the moment you first walk through the front door, your breath is taken away at the view and you can't believe how truly fortunate you are to stay here. The unit is beyond clean and very well-maintained. You really don't have to leave your room...just lock the door and stay here doing your entire stay!! But this is Maui and there is so much to see and do. This place is the perfect launching pad to explore all those island adventures. Well worth the splurge!!

  This unit lived up to our expectations. The unit was in excellent condition, well stocked and outfitted, and the renovations were well done. The view of the beach and ocean was everything we could have asked for. The sunsets on the balcony were a highlight of our stay. The complex, with its two pools, hot tubs and other amenities provided lots for us to keep busy without having to leave. It is close to Whaler's Village and other shopping centers too.

  We would have to agree with the outstanding reviews about the condo in regards to cleanliness,views and location.I could have spent all day sitting on the patio reading and looking at the gorgeous views! Everything about the condo made us feel and home and so, so comfortable. There is plenty of living space. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms were immaculate. Our day started with the beautiful view from bed. The views are UNBELIEVABLE!!!! The kitchen is updated and had everything we needed to prepare our meals. The location is close to everything. If you have time try to attend the Expedia presentation in the lobby. It is not a time share. They gave us great information about the area. We booked our Molokini snorkel trip through them.( Pacific Whale - it was a great trip!) We also went on a zipline tour. This vacation was one of the most relaxing we have had in years.We hope to return again. The sooner the better. This condo is exactly as described. You will not be disappointed.

  Our family stayed at this condo for a week beginning 5/2/12. Had a really wonderful time. The condo had everything we needed. It's very nicely decorated and clean. The kitchen is updated and has all the amenities. Btw: the larger coffee cups are over the sink. We enjoyed the lanai and had some beautiful sunsets and delicious dinners. Every morning, my husband and I would walk across the street to the coffee shop (it's a colorful place you'd have to see to appreciate) Our grandson thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the beach. We even had a treasure hunt with pirates map and hidden treasure on the beach. Walks in the evening were perfect. We took the walkway from our resort and walked all the way down to the other resorts and to Duke's Restaurant. The weather was a little rainy off and on - seemed it only rained over our condo for a couple of days, but it didn't last long and didn't hinder our activities. A large grocery store is across the street and we were just minutes from Lahaina. Another hint - if you take the Sugar Train in Lahaina - keep your arms in! The vegetation hadn't been cut back yet and was a scratchy experience. It's about an hours drive from Mama's Fish House - which is a must go! We highly recommend this condo and resort. It was the perfect location for all things on this side of Maui. The resort itself is nice and the grounds are well maintained. Looking forward to coming back!!

  I've been vacationing in Hawaii for nearly 35 years, and while I've certainly had ocean views, this was the most OCEAN FRONT I have ever been! AMAZING property! With a 3 1/2 year old that still naps, we could easily be inside on the lanai for hours and not feel like we were missing a thing! We watched whales jumping from bed in the Master Suite and spectacular sunset views every evening. Accommodations where beautiful and the upgraded kitchen was awesome. Loved every single thing about it and HIGHLY recommend. Owner Gail was outstanding to work with and the local managing agent was exceedingly helpful. Mahalo!

  We loved the location which felt like a private residence with a stellar view of the whales and sunsets at Kaanapali. From this location we easily explored north and south along the west coast of Maui. Our unit was clean and very nicely updated...all the comforts of home. We hope to come back again!
