Z by the Sea is a two story 2600 sq. ft. home on a half acre that is perched on a bluff above Sportshaven Beach. This home is featured on many pictures, post cards, and magnets. - Experience the ocean, beach and Port views from this home like no other place on the coast!
This home has a fully equipped eat-in kitchen, 3 bedrooms and 2.5 baths, living room, dining room, and separate family room with game/reading/TV area. Upstairs you will find the master suite and a separate family room along with two bedrooms and a newly renovated bathroom. This area can be made into your own private space by closing the pocket door (great if you have teenagers).
The extremely large master suite includes a queen bed, sitting area, and a large spa like bathroom with separate shower, soaking tub, double sinks and walk-in closet. You have a door right out to the upper deck. You will be amazed with the views from this room. The other bedrooms include one queen and a twin and a queen both rooms have amazing views of the ocean and beach and each room has a door to the upper deck.
Sporthaven Beach is an excellent place to spot whales. Late March and the entire month of April are prime time for catching the Grey Whales as they migrate northward. Some whales even spend the summer in Oregon and can be seen all year. December is a great time to catch them as they head south; you can see all of this happening right from the decks or from any location inside the house. Come on the 4th of July, and you will be dazzled with the fireworks display which takes place right in front the house over the ocean. The Southern Oregon Kite Festival also takes place in July on Sportshaven Beach and at the Port. The Festival of the Arts is in August at the Port of Brookings/Harbor and on the Boardwalk. September is the SLAM'N SALMON OCEAN DERBY, three days of world-class Chinook Salmon Fishing out of the Port of Brookings/Harbor.
