We have a very large family with six kids, and lots of extended family that often come and visit us. We are really into "family" time and we spend as much time as we can doing things together like; bike riding, boating, skiing, and enjoying time in the evenings on the deck. Whether it's a fish fry, fried turkey, fish on the grill, or steaks, we love to cook-out and enjoy good food, and then relax and "wine" down the end of a day.
We have enjoyed our family gatherings at "High Tide" and we know you will too!

My family and I stayed at "High Tide" for a week and loved it! There was plenty of room (we had 7 kids and 5 adults) for entertaining, eating, and sleeping. The beach access is right across the street, and the beach is only about 300 feet away. There are beach boats, umbrellas, and boogie boards for your own use in the owners storage out by the beautiful pool in the back yard. It also has easy access to grocery shopping and beach supplies just down the street. We would highly recommend "High Tide" to anyone going to the Seagrove, Highway 30-A area.

We really enjoyed our stay at this home. We have rented on 30A many times and have found this home was one of our favorites. It was really nice having our bikes delivered and waiting on us when we arrived at the home. The location was perfect. With 3 small children we were back and forth from beach to pool... This home is within walking distance to Seaside and we visited there often for all the fun shops and dinning. We will be back for one more trip this summer and hope we get an opportunity to stay in this home again. Terri T

WOW~ we are ready to visit again. We had so much fun in this beach house. We rented bikes from Terri and rode to Seaside each day for lunch. We spent evenings hanging out by the pool and hot tub cooking out. This home had everything you could want out of a rental home. Everything was clean. The decor is great. A very comfortable home. We are planning to come back in July. I will call call you this week to reserve. Thanks again for a great experience. Ronnie

Disappointment and Misleading

House was in need of repair and not clean during our stay in March 2011. There are no curtains anywhere in the house, which is horrible for a master bedroom when the sun comes blaring through at 6am. The house is North of highway 30 A, behind a business, and then a few big houses away from the beach. Balcony faces an old motel. The pool and hot tub are about the only thing that lived up to my expectations. Not worth the the money.
Owner response:Repairs were bathroom door needed WD 40 and grill grates needed to be moved around on the inside of the grill and blinds needed 3 twist wands replaced. All of these issues were reported at 10 p.m at night and we had all issues taken care of by 10 am the next morning. The home is located on the North Side of 30A behind a really cute art store which has very little business. There are no other structures or homes between our home and the beach walk and it is only 350 feet from the beach. The balcony faces a low rise condo complex not a motel! Cleanliness of the home was never reported until this email. Our housekeepers do a fantastic job. This home has been on the rental market for the 3rd year and this is the first negative response that we have received. This client wanted a discount from the beginning and she was given one. I think this might have been a case of someone that couldn't really afford the home.
