Kitchen and dining area opens into large great room with fireplace and views of mountains and valley. Inlaid Brazilian cherry wood floors throughout upper level as well as an office and 1/2 bath. Additional 1,000 sq ft just finished with second steam shower bathrm, queen murphy bed, full kitchen and wonderful moutain views.
Lower level also has a master suite with its own bath and queen bed. Third bedroom with queen bed and own bath as well. Two bunk room areas, one with shower. Year Purchased: 2005
We grew up in Indiana and Ohio but have always loved the Rocky Mountains. After skiing all over the US,Canada and Europe we chose the Wasatch Range adajacent to Salt Lake City for our retirement home.Cynthia is a CPA working in HR at Lilly and Jim is an Emegency physician. As empty nesters we wanted a fabulous place our bicoastal kids would come to for holidays and skiing.
Why the Owner Chose Sandy
We selected this house for our retirement home. It is 25 min from SLC airport and 12 minutes from Snowbird. Alta,Park City,Solitude,Brighton,Canyons,Snowbasin and Deer Valley are a few minutes farther. Salt Lake is a great montainside local, clean safe, true 4 seasons,often sunny enough to wear shorts in the valley and drive up the valley and ski.The road system is easy, Moab and St George are great side trips, Lake Utah is 25 miles away.

Alta averages over 600"/year of the best powder in the world.Snowbird is 12 minutes from the house.Solitude,Brighton,Canyons,Deer Valley,Park City,Snowbasin and others are a few miles farther. We have greatviews of Kennicott Mountains out our front,Wasatch to the rear. The spring ,wummer and fall are preferred by many.
