Condo Del Mar, A Unique Condominium Experience by the Sea
Imagine entering your luxurious vacation home away from home completely furnished with everything to make your stay incredible and have the refrigerator and pantry already stocked with the items you have selected in advance. . No need to spend your time shopping, it’s done for you so you can spend your vacation like you are supposed to. Then, for that first meal after a day of traveling, enjoy an already prepared dinner on the deck as you watch the sun drop serenely into the Pacific. The next morning, your personal van picks you up at the door and takes you directly to the best sport fishing boat in the harbor, The Frenzy, and you’re off for an incredible day of fishing for Marlin and Sailfish or maybe you stay inshore for Roosterfish. If fishing is not your thing, the van instead takes you to one of many eco-touring spots of the area or you try the zip-line canopy tours or white water rafting. Maybe you just want to relax the first day and have an in-home massage and laze by the pool.
Casa El Mar is the most unique vacation rental condominium located in the incredible beauty of the Manuel Antonio area. It has optional features not found in a typical condominium such as a full time maid, the pre-vacation food and beverage service and a full time concierge manager that will give you 5 star service from the moment of your arrival. This spacious 3-bedroom penthouse has the best ocean views of the entire complex. Now open on the same property is a fine dining restaurant and a full service cocktail and pool bar, to compliment the large pool with a spacious sun deck overlooking the ocean.
There are nature trails adjoining the property where you can hike and observe monkeys, sloths, butterflies and other features of the tropical rainforest. It is just a short walk to Bisanz beach. This small beach doesn’t have the crowds of the larger Manuel Antonio Beach and offers snorkeling, kayaking and swimming. For those a little more adventurous you can walk by beach all the way to Manuel Antonio National Park, Costa Rica’s most popular National Park and for good reason.
Come and enjoy this unique condominium experience and prepare to be pampered!

Condo Del Mar, a Unique Condominium Experience by the Sea
Year Purchased: 2008
Why the Owner Chose Manuel Antonio
I've been fishing in Costa Rica for about 15 years now. When I finally convinced the family to join me, they couldn't get enough of it. My daughter wants to move there. We fell in love with the culture and now have many Tica "family" members we visit every time we are there. Every where we go we are treated like a favorite relative instead of another tourist. While Hawaii and Mexico are much closer for us to travel to, we just love Costa Rica more!
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
The Gusto restaurant on our property is fabulous with a Peruvian chef who prepared one of the best meals I've ever had with a Mahi Mahi we had caught that day. We enjoy not only sportfishing on the best boat in Costa Rica (The Frenzy) but enjoy all the other activities close by. We've treated family and guests to everything from the canopy tours (zip lines) to guided tours of the National Park to surfing at the beach to visits to a spice farm. I can go on and on but just know the area is Nature's Paradise. The days are usually finished with a refreshing dip in the pool and then watching the sunset from the balcony before dinner. Although we do have our list of favorite restaurants and coffee places we frequent that are a fast cab ride away now that the road is paved (if you don't rent a car), but we really enjoy having a local chef prepare meals for us in the condo. The fresh fish we bring back and vegetables from the weekly farmer's market are incredible. We hope you will come and enjoy everything this area has to offer!
The Google Earth Map is pretty outdated but here is the location of our unique condo overlooking the Pacific Ocean. Located on the same property as the Suu Hotel with the fabulous Gusto Restaurant.
A short 5 minute walk from the condo. Great place to snorkel, build sand castles or swim. Not much surf. Great for kids. A little more private than the larger Manuel Antonio Beach.
Central America's newest full service Marina. Opened in 2010 and home to Frenzysportfishing and the "Frenzy" rated the best fishing boat in Costa Rica. Three time winner of the Harry Gray Invitational Tournament. For the fishing trip of a lifetime, go with the "Frenzy".
This is the most popular National Park in Costa Rica. We can arrange for private guides to lead you through the park as they find and describe the various varieties of plants and animals. You can return and spend the day on their beautiful beaches and no crowds.
Main office for Frenzysportfishing. If you can't book the Frenzy while you are in Manuel Antonio, Willy will find you a good boat and crew.
A must visit during your trip to Quepos. Great food and atmosphere. If you stop in tell Marsha, the owner, that we sent you.
Great place to visit. Learn all about the life cycle of the butterfly and see many live specimens. Lots of info about plants as well. Pay the extra fee for the reptile garden, it's worth it to see the Cocodrillos, caimens and more. They have a night tour as well to see the frogs especially the red eyed tree frog.
It's been here so long that you used to have to take a donkey from Quepos to get here. Good food and Great Sunsets!!!!!!!
The best cup of coffee in Costa Rica. Hey remember we're from Starbuck's country!!
We call this the long beach. You can walk from the condo but it's a good work-out. Towards the park you can find restaurants, various vendors and can rent water equipment. Closer to the condo less amenities.
Easy walk from the condo. We were told this is where Bill Gates stays if he comes to Costa Rica. I haven't seen him here.
One of the boutique style hotels in Costa Rica. Has added some very nice touches to our complex.
Open for the regional airlines and private charters. Day flights only. They are reported to be preparing to extend the runway to allow larger planes in and out.
Some where out here is the Spice farm. Another fascinating place to visit and learn about vanilla, Cacao, cinnamon, pepper and other plants. A great tour. Willy can get you there.
A quaint little Costa Rican town with shops and restaurants. Has a great farmer's market on most Fridays and Saturdays. Check with the locals for the time you are there.
This is home to the Rico Tico Restaurant. Our kids favorite. Their chicken or fish Nachos are the best!
Owner's Map of Manuel Antonio
Our family lives in the beautiful Northwest. We live on the water and have kids that love all water sports like wakeboarding, kayaking, paddle boards and fishing. We spend our summers at home but when the rain gets us down in the winter we love to head South.

We had such a great trip to Manuel Antonio! The condo is huge! Our group was numbered at 6 and we had ample space. The location is superb and private. The view is breathtaking. Would recommend this to friends for sure. We give it five stars because of all things listed above and because we got to know Willy and his staff. They are helpful and really give you the red carpet treatment. Did I mention the white face monkeys come through every morning? You have to check out the little beach down the street as well. Great little hike! The last comment is about the fishing on Frenzy 43. We had more fun sport fishing!! Absolutely amazing! The crew works hard for you. They coached us the whole way since we had not done it before. Then they taught us to fly fish as well. We saw spinner dolphins and turtles as a bonus. So fun! Next time we are bringing the kids!

We were at Condo del Mar for a weekend, and the condo is extraordinary. Luxurious, delicately decorated, complete, beautiful, state of the art kitchen and general fourniture, extremely comfortable, with finishes and details of the highest quality. So I say, do not be fooled by the pictures, as these do not do justice to what really is the place ... just PERFECT!

Most Highly Recommended! If I could rate higher than 5 Stars, this unit would be deserving of all. Photos alone cannot do justice to both the setting, the views and the luxurious and comfortable lodgings. Bedrooms are all spacious and fully appointed. Bathrooms are huge. Balconies everywhere, to enjoy that magnificent pacific ocean view. The location is mid-way between Quepos and its world-famous sport fishing, and the fabulous Manuel Antonio National Park . . . both of which we were thrilled to enjoy on our vacation. We found the service equally impressive; fully equipped kitchen, fridge full of beverages, immaculate housekeeping and everyone extremely friendly. The condo development is still under finishing phases of construction . . . so obviously everything is brand new . . . but we report no disturbances at all from building activities. The new restaurant within the Del Mar complex was not yet open, so we can't offer any opinions yet on that one. Recommend you dine at least once at El Gran Escape in downtown Quepos; many excellent restaurants throughout the Manuel Antonio hillsides too numerous to mention. Maximum Stars for Condo Del Mar and the entire Quepos/Manuel Antonio experience!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.
