Year Purchased: 2007
We both have lived in Beautiful Bend for almost 30 yrs because its a great place to live! We were drawn here by the friendliness of small community (not so small anymore but still friendly!) and skiing, biking, hiking and the great outdoors! We both love working by hand to create fun,imaginative,creative places and sharing those places with friends, family and you! We have a business - Inspire Creative Homes. That pretty much says it and thats what we do - when there is extra time we are skiing, running, riding bikes, sailing in the high cascades! Come join us!
Why the Owner Chose Bend
It is a GREAT location! You are in the westside OLD neighborhood AND you can walk 2-3 blocks and be right downtown in the hub of it all! You can walk in 3 different directions from the house and be at the river in just 3 blocks! We are in the BEND of the river! Jim's mother and father bought the lot w/mill house in the late 70's. Jim,brother and cousins occupied the mill house for a combination of 20+ yrs. In 2005 we bought the mill house from Jim's brother and started on a looonng journey of designing and rebuilding to bring you.....THE LOFT and THE ALLEY CAT FLAT presently on the lot!

Being able to relax! Sit out on the south side upper deck - sip and enjoy! We love entertaining in the kitchen in the open loft at the large counter top island - its really where everyone always ends up, right? In the kitchen!
