We just spent six wonderful days in Dorado visiting family. The villa is very well-maintained, immaculately clean, and well-supplied with all necessities (linens, bath & beach towels, kitchen ware, iron) as well as many extra amenities (beach chairs, beach umbrella) . The description and pictures in the listing are accurate. Our group of six was very comfortable at all times. From the very beginning, communication with the owner was extremely smooth and replies were very prompt. The owner provided excellent directions to the townhouse, instructions for start and end of the rental period, information on the area, and addressed all our concerns. We didn't use the large and beautiful pool, but very much enjoyed the beach, which is just a few steps away. We hope to be able to return to the villa on our next trip to PR and highly recommend this property.

The town house is an easy twenty five minute drive from the airport. It is on three levels with two bedrooms and a bath on the middle floor, and a big bedroom and bath on the top floor. The place is equipped with everything you will need. There is a nice little patio at the back. You can hear the call of the coqui frogs at night! The beach is right across the street. The hotel beach nearby is nicer, and beyond, if you walk further, are wild rocks and crashing waves, quite a sight! From Dorado, it is not hard to get to other parts of Puerto Rico - we went to the Bacardi Factory (15 mins), into Old San Juan (30 mins), El Yunque (75 mins) and Orocovis for a thrilling zip line ride (70 minutes). Groceries, some restaurants and other conveniences are just outside the complex, half a mile away. Some minor things to know: No Internet; small TV; the nearby beach is not the prettiest; there is no door to close off the master bedroom. The two staircases might not be safe for children under 5. If you read through these reviews, every one of them says the owner, Loida, is wonderful and goes out of her way to mahe your stay comfortable. That I can absolutely vouch for! When something didn't go right for us - the remote control for the gate didn't work at 5:00 AM (in Virginia where she lives) - Loida immediately sprang into action. She called security to get the gate opened for us; later in the stay she had her sister drive 30 miles to deliver us another remote, and she had security fix the non-working remote. She also called to ask how things were going and texted us helpful tips on what to do on the island. I have not met her, but I am sure she is a lovely person.

We decided for a Christmas gift to our adult children to go to Puerto Rico. We couldn't of been more pleased with the villa and the island. Loida was so helpful from the time we began the process. We had one family coming from Chicago, IL, another from Lafayette, IN. another from Raleigh NC and my husband and I from Iowa. With two babies Loida made sure we had two cribs and a stroller. The villa is clean and has everything you could want and need to make your stay comfortable. We traveled to the caverns, Old San Juan, Rain forests, beaches, the countryside with out any problems. Loida was helpful in sending information about places to see and in Dorado places to eat. Everything was covered. Beautiful views, great weather, friendly people, we enjoyed ourselves so much. You won't be disppointed if you decide to stay here, 3 bedrooms,1 sofa bed, two full baths, and beautiful balconies in each bedroom. Thank you for sharing your villa................I know I want to visit Puerto Rico again.

Our family really enjoyed our stay, and we have talked about coming back next year to do it again. The unit was very large, clean, and comfortable, and we could easily walk to the community pool, the nearby beach, the playground, and a handful of restaurants. Great ocean views from the 3rd floor, too. The security gates and bicycle guards made us feel very safe. The neighbors seemed very laid back and quiet, and there were no loud parties near us at night. I suppose a group of college kids might find the development too quiet, but it was just right for us. There were only 2 parking spaces within the security gates, but we parked a third car in walking distance just outside the gate, and it was no problem. Also, the owners were very responsive to our questions. For example, when we called about a clogged drain it was taken care of in less than a day, and then they called us back afterwards to make sure it was OK. We were very pleased with the high level of attention the owners provided. The location itself is far enough outside San Juan to be rather tranquil, but is close enough to easily drive in to Old San Juan or other San Juan attractions. It was around 30 minutes for us to drive in to San Juan if we avoided the rush hour. The cable channels were fewer than what we have at home, but that's OK -- we don't go on vacation to sit and watch TV. Overall, it was a very positive and relaxing experience. We look forward to staying there again, and we would recommend it to friends and family.

Beautiful condo, very comfortable and very secure. There was seven of us and we were very comfortable. The beach is steps away. The owner was a delight to work with. She answerd all my question in a timely manner. It was a very smooth transition. I highly recommend this condo to anyone staying in Dorodo.

Amenities were exceptional, just like at home. Ocean view from villa is magnificent. Very clean and well maintained by owner. 7 of us slept with comfort. Ease of movement was excellent. Close to shopping centers, restaurants, groceries, etc. Beautiful beaches for walking and swimming are near unit. Don't miss Villas del Mar swimming pool as it is really nice. Also owner was exceptionally cordial and ready to answer all questions. Will recommend to anyone and would stay again if opportunity arises.

We are back home safe and sound after a delightful holiday in Puerto Rico. Our stay at your home was just right - comfortable and clean, well equipped, bright and cheery. All your information and instructions were clear and helpful. The weather was beautiful for walking all along the sea shore, lounging at the Embassy Suites beach and ambling down to Antojitos del Kitrinche. The kids went for pulpo in plantain for midday snacks. Then we decided to eat dinner there on Friday nite - the fried fish was magnificent as well as various mofongos. Flan was a perfect ending to the dinner and our little holiday!

This villa is perfectly situated just steps from the beach but in a secure, gated area. The villa was immaculate and generously supplied with amenities to last throughout your stay. We were fortunate to have perfect weather for our visit, and although air conditioning is available throughout the villa, we rarely had in on, preferring to use the ceiling fans and keep the windows open and the rooms airy. The villa is bright and cheerful with lovely artwork and window dressings, creating a serene, relaxing atmosphere. We loved the beach across the way, although small. It was quiet with a gentle breeze and low hanging trees to settle under if you wished for shade. There's no need to lug bunches of things to the beach, since the villa is so accessible. We also did some snorkeling right off of this beach and enjoyed seeing a variety of tropical fish. The owners are unbelievably accommodating, anxious to do anything they can to ensure your visit is all it can be. We drove into San Juan to see the fort and walk around Old San Juan, both worth doing. We also visited Rancon to see the surfers and the beaches there. We would strongly advise you to make a brief drive (30 minutes) to visit a couple of beaches located to the west-Baineario Las Tubos and Playa de Mar Chiquita. These are off the beaten track, but not to be missed-both are breathtakingly beautiful. Driving in Puerto Rico was our least favorite thing, but we ventured forth so as not to miss other experiences. There are several good restaurants nearby--some to which you can walk. Drug stores and grocery are very close and easily accessed without getting into major traffic or congestion. All of the Puerto Rican people were very friendly and helpful--none of the uncomfortable attitude so frequently experienced in traveling was there. We had our adult children with us and we all loved our location and the villa. We would return in a heartbeat! Greatest thanks to Loida and Steven for the wonderful hospitality and generosity from start to finish. I can't imagine renting from two nicer people! Ben and Christa

We recently returned from a 10 day trip to Puerto Rico and stayed in this villa in Dorado. Dorado itself is a good location as it's easy to reach all parts of the island. The villa was very clean, spacious and conveniently located and is about 30 minutes from San Juan. Six of us stayed in the villa and it never felt overcrowded. The villa has all the amenities you need for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. There is very good wireless connectivity which allowed us to stay in touch with family and friends. The pool, which is only a two minute walk from the villa was great. It was very clean, spacious and never crowded. We took lots of pictures of friendly iguanas and little geckos by the pool. We felt safe at all times. The VRBO owners ensured our stay was most comfortable and were very accomodating before and during our stay to ensure we had the most enjoyable vacation. This was our first time renting a place for vacationing. We were fully satisfied and would recommend the villa to others looking for a relaxing vacation to Puerto Rico.

We stayed at the Villa with another couple for a week in April. The Villa was clean with plenty of fresh linens, towels and beach towels, beach chairs, a beach umbrella and coolers. The beach is very nice to walk on and the pool is lovely. The Villa is located near a number of good restaurants, the best being Grappa. It is located within a resonable distance to Old San Juan and other places in Puerto Rico. We went on the Bacardi tour one day and took a day trip to Ponce one day and went to the rain forest another. We enjoyed our stay and would reccommend the Villa for familes and couples traveling together. Loida is very helpful and the suggestions she left for restaurants and things to do was very helpful. Any questions we had were answered promptly.

The villa was very clean and very well equipped with plenty of kitchen utensils, beach towels, beach chairs, linens and everything one needs for a comfortable stay. The location is great. It is just across the street from a small, cozy beach, which is not crowded at all. If one wants more beach it is within a short walk. Also a short walk inside this gated community is a beautiful, large pool with plenty of lounge chairs. Finally, a five minute car ride away is Dorado del Mar golf course, a nice 18- hole layout. Rates after 3:00 p.m. are very reasonable and one can do 18 in less than four hours. The Dorado Beach area is lots of fun with plenty of restaurants and shopping. Everything in Dorado is just a short drive and it is not that far to San Juan. Finally, you cannot beat the weather. There was little rain here and there but mostly sun and warm temperatures. All in all, it was good place to vacation and nice villa to stay in. The owners were very helpful, supplying us with tips on how to get the most out of our stay, including restaurant and shopping guides and a map of the area. They were always ready to answer questions by email or telephone.

We had a lovely stay at this villa. It was very spacious and we especially enjoyed the patio. The area is quiet and we felt safe at all times. The owner was extremely responsive and accommodating--she even purchased a brand-new crib for our 9-month-old daughter so we wouldn't have to bring one of our own. The villa is close to many restaurants and grocery stores. We found everything we needed either at the villa or nearby. It was a very relaxing and enjoyable vacation!

Loida, You have a fantastic place for a couple or family to enjoy the warmth of the Caribbean. The villa is very well furnished with anything needed and the views from the balcony are picture worthy. The security provided by the gated community was outstanding. We were very impressed by your hospitality and genuine concern for our vacation. The village of Dorado has much to offer and it is an easy drive to most of the attractions on the island without the hassle of the San Juan area.

We found the Villa to be clean, bright, airy, comfortable, well maintained and nicely appointed. It was fully equipped and generously stocked w/everyday necessities. The owners were very pleasant, sincere, helpful and eager to please. The pool is very large, clean, and well maintained. Residents of nearby Villas were all very cordial. We felt safe at all times; and the bicycle patrol, 24/7, was re-assuring. A good choice of nice restaurants nearby. Easy drive to Old San Juan, and many attractions. Topography is interesting, beaches are pretty, surf is awesome ! We will definitely recommend it. We, hopefully, will return.

My family and I were very impressed by the enormous size of the townhome. With its three floors and numerous terraces, we were able to walk out of the gate right onto the beach. The owner was very accommodating by bringing us whatever we needed. The area is very quiet and the pool is gigantic. Although the townhomes may be quite close together, you still have your privacy and your solitude. I would recommend this property and will use it again in the future. The safety was great and the guards riding around on bikes too.
