This was absolutely perfect for our family! Our 3 boys ages 13, 11, and 6 had a fantastic time. The grassy park right outside the patio doors is large and very well kept. The playground was a bonus to our 6 year old. The beach is very easily accessed and if need be the elevator is there. The condo was very clean with everything we needed. The kids used just about everything in the beach toy bin...that was so nice to have without having to pack it! The condo was very quiet and very comfortable. The owners were quick to respond, organized and great to deal with. We have stayed at a few different properties in the area and the Foster's home was a wonderful find for us! We hope and are planning to be back next year!

Great Place for Families
Great Place for Families
Let me first say we have a very diverse group when it comes to our family. We have two teens and a toddler, so it is very hard to find vacation spots that have "it all". We spent half a week at this location, and absolutely LOVED it! The unit was clean and comfortable, with more than what we needed for cooking, playing and living. We were very comfortable. The unit itself was what we belived THE perfect unit, as it had a great view of the ocean, and lawn/playground, and only a few steps to the pool! We liked that it was on the lower level as it made it easier for bringing in groceries/luggage and it was so nice to just walk out the door to enjoy the beautifully maintained property. The kids had a blast beachcombing and swimming in the pool, while our little one kept "escaping" to the park (only steps from the patio). There were many other families to find friends to hang out with, but not so many that it felt like you didn't have privacy. I think that there were only 30 units on the main level and maybe a dozen or so on the lower cliff level, and the central pool/lawn area gave it a very open feel. The pool was never too busy, and you never felt like your neighbors were right on top of you. The only negative that I could possibly critique is that this resort area is one of the last ones in the bay area, and is higher up, with a beach area that does not look as nice as the ones further north. However that being said, there is an elevator for those that want to use it, to bring you down 3/4 of the way, and we found that the area we beachcombed was still very enjoyable...you have nearly a kilometer when the tide is out! We absolutely would recommend this location to anyone that asks, and are already thinking about our return, hopefully next year!

Between the great weather, well-equipped condo, wonderful property and location, I can't say enough about our stay at the Foster'sParksville Beach House. I would recommend this spot to everyone; in fact, we have already booked for 2012.

A Great Place to Stay
A Great Place to Stay
My wife, son and I stayed here over the Easter long weekend and had a great time. The condo is well laid out and has most everything that one might want in the way of beach towels, utensils, appliances and entertainment. Just bring your perishables and you're all set. It's a place that we'll definitely plan on visiting again,

This summer our daughter got married in Nanaimo,My husband and I rented the Fosters condo for 2 weeks and it was "the perfect" spot for us to host a few family gatherings and relax and enjoy our down time. The beach is fantastic! The condo is lovely and the grounds are very well maintained. The location is very central,so it is easy to enjoy Vancouver Island in all directions. We had a wonderful time there and hope to come back. Thanks again

Our Parksville Holiday
Our Parksville Holiday
We have been renting this property for one week every summer for the last 5 years. The condo is always in excellent condition, it is fully furnished and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The resort grounds are beautiful, always well kept and tidy. Our kids love the open green spaces, pool and hot-tub. The view from the patio is lovely and very peaceful. You have the choice of either spending your time on the spectacular Rathtrevor Beach, hanging out at the pool, or having a nice quiet time on the patio enjoying the view (and perhaps a nice cold drink too). Plus there are lots of fun activities to do in the Parksville and surrounding areas.

My family and I stayed at this condo for a full week. It was absolutely the best family vacation yet! The kids had a blast in the pool, all day, every day. The views from the condo patio were breathtaking! The condo itself was not only well maintained and clean, but nicely decorated and well stocked with all the necessities one would need at home. A housekeeper even came mid week with a basket full of fresh towels and beach towels! We will definitely be back next year. Thank you!
