We stayed in this property in early December, 2011, and can't say enough about how great the experience was. The house is very clean, comfortable, well-designed, and provides all the luxuries of home (including WIFI, cable TV). It is very convenient to Cruz Bay, so all of the conveniences that the island has to offer (restaurants, excursions, shopping, grocery stores, the ferry, etc.) are just a minute or two away by car, yet the property is tucked away on a hillside away from the hustle and bustle. And, of course, it's only a short drive to some of the most amazing beaches on planet Earth--Caneel Bay, Hawk's Nest, Trunk Bay, Cinnamon Bay, etc. etc. The owner is very accommodating, and concerned about providing a hassle-free stay on the islands--the small details are not overlooked. Beach chairs, beach towels, and a cooler were provided, for example, among other things. The big things are not overlooked either--washer and dryer, a full kitchen with all the necessary appliciances, etc. Oh, and how could I forget, the view is spectacular! We highly recommend this property.

I took my wife to St. John for her surprise 50th birthday present. We couldn't have found a more perfect villa and a more perfect location. Ylang Ylang provided us with wonderful accommodations and fantastic views! The villa is perfectly appointed with everything we needed for a completely relaxing stay. The deck and pool were very comfortable and private, and we enjoyed beautiful views and sunsets every evening. The location (up the hill from Cruz Bay) was so convenient to town - but far enough away that all we heard was the birds chirping and the breeze blowing. We would definitely recommend this villa and we can't wait to get back! Already planning our return trip!

My wife and I stayed here for our honeymoon in September 2010. The views were amazing and the owner, Jim, was an extremely gracious host. The best 9 days of my life! I would definitely recommend this house for anyone looking to vacation in St. John, especially a couple that does not want to stay in a corporate hotel.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, romantic getaway.
