We had a great time at Michael's house. We rented the house for the weekend, and to host my mom's 60th birthday party. Michael was very open and flexible with our party. The house was very clean and spacious. Anything that we needed was provided to us, and we got to enjoy the view, putting green, and fire pit. We really enjoyed ourselves and are thankful that Michael was willing to have a party hosted in his home. I would recommend this house to anyone!Owner response: I'm glad your family enjoyed your weekend at my home. Don't wait for your Mom's 70th birthday to come back. Hope to host you in the future. Mike

Beautiful views, plenty of space, nice yard. Bring ear plugs you will hear coyotes at night and the owners dog, Robin,, although very well behaved barked a lot at night. So didn't sleep well first night. The second night we brought her in and she was well behaved, but we could hear coyotes and dogs in the distance. Loved the back patio and panoramic views. Pool table was fun and hiking around the house. The hot tub was chilly, maybe we needed to warm it up before we used it. Had a great birthday weekend for our dear friend and enjoyed local wineries.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: Thank you for the review. It sounds like you enjoyed your stay for the most part. It is rare that coyotes are active close to the property at night but it can happen and Robin will bark when she is frightened by them. Thanks for bringing her in the second night. As for the spa, the temperature was at 100 degrees when you arrived and if the cover is left on it doesn't cool off much at all. In any event I'm sorry the spa wasn't at a temperature to your liking. Thanks for taking good care of my property and I hope to have you back in the future. Mike

Hiya! I stayed at Resort de Rio for 3 nights and had a great time! The views from the house were spectacular and it's so quiet there. Sitting on the patio was the most relaxing part of our stay there. Thanks Mike for a tremendous time! Can't wait to come back.Recommended for: Girls getaway, sightseeing.

We rented this beautiful home from Oct 11 - Oct 15, 2012, for family to stay at during our son's wedding. Everyone loved the scenery from the back yard and family members enjoyed the hot tub. The owner (Mike) allowed us to have a party for all the out-of-towners the night before the wedding. We were a total of 50 and I hired a caterer to throw a luau. Mike came and helped us with whatever we needed. The weather was a bit cool so Mike started a bonfire in the fire pit. Mike was very helpful and wanted our party to be a success, which it was. Thank you, Mike, for sharing your home with us and allowing us to have 50 people on your property. Everyone has great memories from that week-end. Mahalo!Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, sightseeing.
Owner response: I'm glad you and your party found my property enjoyable. You put on a great event! I hope you will consider visiting again in the future. Mike

We were in town for a wedding and had the pleasure of staying in Mike's home for the weekend. It was exactly as described and surpassed our expectations in every way. Mike was a great host and very easy to communicate with. The home was clean, stocked with plenty of linens and cookware. There was more than enough room for our party of 8 and a toddler. The views from the house are spectacular, whether you're in the hot tub, pool, patio, putting green. We only wish we had more time to enjoy all the amenities and explore the area. We definitely would love to come back again for another stay! We highly recommend staying here if you're planning a trip to Temecula! Thanks for everything, Mike!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: I'm glad you enjoyed your time here and look forward to having you back in the future.

I cannot even begin to explain how great of an experience we had at this gorgeous Temecula home. I booked this place for my sister's bachelorette/ wine tasting weekend with the girls. Lounging by the pool all day, Jacuzzi at night, this house has everything. The owner is very kind, accommodating, and generous. His dog Robin also put a smile on all our faces, he clearly runs the place :) The view, location, and pleasing quietness of this rental is remarkable. As my sister's maid of honor, I feel like this house was the key element that made my sister's bachelorette a success. Exactly how much did we love our experience?... We are going back in 3 weeks for my mom's 60th birthday! We Can't wait go back! Thank you again for everything, Mike!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: I'm glad you and your party enjoyed my property and had a wonderful weekend. Looking forward to having you back for your Mom's birthday weekend. What is her favorite adult beverage? I will have a bottle waiting for her when you arrive. Mike

This property was definitely as advertised and even exceeded our expectations with resort-like amenities. Mike certainly takes care of his guests and the house definitely felt like "home" for the weekend. Our group included eight adults in town from across the country for our friends' wedding at Gershon Bachus Vintners (awesome venue) and provided more than ample living and outdoor space for everyone to enjoy. The kitchen has all of the cookware, barware and utensils for preparing pretty much anything. Fresh propane tanks provided by Mike were put to good use, as well. After a relatively quick trip to Costco (approx 20 mins away), we were all set with everything we needed to eat and drink for the weekend. Unfortunately, this meant that we didn't have an opportunity to visit any of the wineries aside from the wedding site, but there are a number in close (driving) proximity to the house. We enjoyed having Robyn (Mike's sweet dog) stay on site as she quickly became part of our crew and hung out with us the majority of the time. I would absolutely recommend this property to any groups and/or families visiting the Temecula area and would love to stay there again if I am ever in the area again. Thanks again, Mike!Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.
Owner response: Thanks for the kind words. Hope to see you back in the future!

My family and I spent my 30th and my grandmothers 90th birthday at the property. We Loved it! It had the most amazing views I have ever seen. We wine tasted, went to the casino and enjoyed the yard. We had 14 people in the house and never felt uncomfortable or cramped. the guys loved ping pong and the pool table and the girls loved the outdoor fire pit and TV. We will definitely be back again soon.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children, sightseeing.

Every year a few of my friends like to gather for New Years. Now that a few of us have children we decided to rent a home instead and have a relaxing New Years. This was the perfect home for that. Great views of the valley and the house has plenty to keep you occupied. Couldn't of asked for a better New Years. We enjoyed making meals with the fully stocked kitchen and grill outside. The pool table and putting green were fun to have and the fire pit was nice at night.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

My friends and I stayed at this Temecula property for a wedding. The listing accurately described the property. We truly enjoyed the outdoor living space on the property. There was everything your heart would desire on the property which included a putting green, ping pong table, outdoor tv, and swimming pool. The house is also situated very close to the wine trail in Temecula. The owner was very helpful and even provided two for one tasting coupons for one of the nearby wineries. We loved the house and would love to stay at this property again when in Temecula. Thanks Mike for everything!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers.
Owner response: I'm glad you enjoyed your visit to Temecula wine country for the wedding you attended. Hope to see you back in the future for a girls getaway or couples wine tasting excursion. Mike
