Enjoy a peaceful, relaxing vacation on a clear, clean lake in the heart of Maine's Lake Region. The house is tastefully decorated and features a wonderful 12'x12' screened-in porch along side a huge outdoor deck. The beach is a sandy bottom sloping gently into the lake and ideal for all ages. It is shared with one neighbor next door. You can also enjoy a grass yard on both the lakeside and road side of the house.
To launch a boat, there is a driveway down to the beach area. The dock is 20' long. Any boat longer than 17' must use an anchor off shore. One motor boat launch is allowed and milfoil inspections and regulations must be strictly followed to maintain this pristine lake.
For your convenience, along Rt. 302 there are major shopping centers nearby in one direction as well as typical rural Maine features in the other direction. Sebago Lake and Long Lake are nearby and boat rentals are available for daily rentals on these lakes. Just 20 minutes away, there is a unique outdoor, double DRIVE-IN Theater in Bridgton AND the indoor Magic Lantern Movie Theater.
Should you want to venture further, the quaint village of North Conway is just 45 minutes and also includes nearby the Storyland Amusement Park for the kids and Outlets/Discount shops for the adults. In the other direction just 45 minutes as well, is LL Bean's famous and original store in Freeport, Maine.
In this region of the country, rental check-in time is 2pm Saturday and check-out time is 10am Saturday. This leaves 4 hours for the cottage to be prepared for the next rental.
