Why the Owner Chose Eugene
The Augusta House Bed and Breakfast started out as Marilyn's family home. Marilyn fell in love with this house years before she purchased it. It just called to her. Even today the house just has a special feeling of care and comfort. After the children grew up and left home it was time to downsize, but the house had different ideas for its future. The market got soft and we were not able to sell it. Then the idea of a bed and breakfast was born. We started from scratch and remodeled the house inside and out. We have spared no expense to create a truly "Suite Bed and Breakfast Experience".

Our guests tell us that our service is over the top, and our bed and breakfast is unlike any they have ever experienced. The Augusta House just feels good to be here. Great views of the coastal range, luxurious yet comfortable decor, fabulous gourmet breakfasts and our love of people make the Augusta House special. I am a CPA who lives vicariously through my partner Marilyn who is an interior designer. We have three adult children, a grand dog Rocky and a new puppy Suki. We love to create beautiful environments to live. In the past 3 years we have completely remodeled two properties and made them available for others to enjoy. The first is the McKenzie River Dream and our latest project is The Augusta House Bed and Breakfast. We hope you enjoy this house as much as we do.
