We stayed 4 nights Sept 6 - 10. W went to the beach everyday, about a block. Resturants walking distance. Sea bisquit the best. Police dept and Fire right across. We used the laundry room and pool was clean. There is someone on site during the day. This was very affordable and I would stay there again.

The condo was perfect for me! Decorated nicely, just enough space. I had a full kitchen, bath and bedroom. A two-seat table for dining, couch & chair and a small TV. Two sitting areas (one outside, one enclosed) in the condo were great. Very close to the beach. I could see part of the ocean across the way. I did not use the pool due to time of year, but it's small pool with chairs to lounge in. Shops and restaurants nearby. I ate at a couple restaurants in the strip across the street. Charleston was a very short drive. Also down the road was groceries, more restaurants and stores. Military fort nearby to explore. The owners were extremely friendly and offered helpful tips; I saw them several times during my few night stay. I would absolutely recommend the property and I would stay again if I get back to this area.

Location: The condo is in a GREAT location. One block to the boardwalk that goes to the beach (runs between the condo buildings on the beach). You could also access the beach a little further down at various points but really it was a 3 minute walk to the first access point. It was warm and windy while we were there and we could hear the surf from outside this unit. Ben and Jerry's and various restaurants and shops also started one block away. We drove around the rest of Isle of Palms and this location for a less expensive rental is the ONLY place we saw one block from the beach with walkable access to food and shops. We did the historic things in Charleston during the day and enjoyed the beach in the evenings so it was like two vacations in one. We spent hours walking the beach and it was just fantastic!!!!!!! Condo: The bathroom, all living areas and furnishings were nice and the air worked great! The kitchen could use some updating but that was ok too except that it had not been cleaned as well as we would have expected. So we just pulled out our disenfectant wipes and cleaned where it still needed it. Had wifi for 5.00 for the whole week and it worked well. There is a small table to set at outside but we were not sure if it belonged to this unit or the one next to it as they share an entrance deck. This deck just overlooks the parking lot so not much to it but the breeze and sound were nice when sitting outside. The unit is great for a couple and perhaps a family with up to 2 children but I would not say it is suitable for 2 couples. The dining table/area is small and there are only two chairs. The kitchen had most everything we needed for cooking and there were plenty of towels, blankets, an iron etc etc. Never had time to use the pool but it looked very clean and refreshing although a little small. Would be great for children or just to cool off. Overall: We had a great time on the Isle of Palm. Ann, the owner of this unit was easy to work with and we would definitely consider staying here again as the location was fantastic. We highly recommend going to the roof top deck at Coconut Joe's and listening to the live music at night. Grab a seat along the rail and enjoy the surf at your back.... ah, it was magic.
