Rating Details: I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was very happy with the location. The vacation rental was spotless. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family has come to Kiawah every Thanksgiving for many years. Our stay at 24B Eugenia was wonderful. Being located just across from the beach made it possible to get my 82 year old mother out to the beach for the 1st time in years. The house is beautiful and was well stocked with paper products, towels, soaps and even some kitchen supplies (oatmeal, spices, olive oil, etc). The rooms were spacious and the bed arrangement was perfect for our growing family with people of all ages. We loved the house and would love to stay there again! Manager responded on 12/12/2012: Thank you for your comments. We are very excited to hear that you enjoyed the house and all it had to offer. We hope to have you back again. Happy Holidays!

We loved the floor plan of the house-everyone had their own private space<br/>and there were places for everyone to congregate. The beach was only a short walk. We all enjoyed our stay!

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

24B Eugenia is a fantastic house with tons of amenities. The huge under-house garage is great and the elevator is a real plus. All of the spaces are large and there are multiple tv's including two big screen HD. Great house.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

We rented this lovely home for our first family reunion and it was perfect. We had 10 adults and 5 children and we had plenty of room. The 7 bathrooms were wonderful and the pool was perfect for small children and adults as well. We have been coming to Kiawah for years but this is the first time we have all stayed in the same home. The kitchen and eating area were great and we would highly recommend this home to others who need a large home.

Rating Details: I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was more than happy with the location. The vacation rental was very clean. The property manager was more than helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was great. There were a couple of things that needed attention. 1. The home had several doors on the front. Some would not lock or latch. We were not concerned because this did not appear to be a high crime area. 2. Although the kitchen was clean, it could have been cleaner. 3. More mirrors are needed in the bedrooms. Our visit was for a wedding and the only mirror for our room was in the bathroom. All things considered, I'd trade my house for this one any day. Rental Experience: Renting this home was very easy. Never had to visit an office and everthing was done via phone, e-mail, or internet. The only improvement I would recommend is for the agents to be more accessable when going through the process, ie. return phone calls, or answer the phone when called. Older folks like to talk instead of using electronics to communicate.

Have been a Kiawah owner and now a returnee to rent for a holiday vacation with children and grandchildren. Long walks on the beach; communal dining; biking to the Ocean Course; reminiscing the undeveloped island of 25 years ago; turtle watches,beach hikes without golf courses or mansions--development is a mixed blessing!

Easy bike ride to East Village, the Sanctuary and Parks. The salt water pool was a delightful treat and two laundry rooms were a dreamy extra. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We loved the house in terms of beach access, and access to Fresh Fields and the Sanctuary. Our only complaint was the cleanliness of the home, but we know that they had a large group for two weeks in prior to our arrival, and they stayed late on check-out day, so the cleaning staff was rushed. While we arrived at 4:00pm, we pretty quickly departed after dropping off our luggage and told them to take their time and clean it right. We returned after dinner and there were several areas missed unfortunately. Overall, we had a great week, and would consider this home again for the size, location and bedroom set-up....I was just push hard to make sure the home is thoroughly cleaned.

Our second stay here was great. Distance to beach is short. Pool is small but fun. House is a great floor plan for a large group. Our only suggestions would be more dinner chairs (sleeps more people than there are chairs at table) and put staircase from beach shower in garage to pool so you do not have to go through house to get to pool when you return from the ocean. Akers, Ellis was GREAT to work with before and during visit.

Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It is a great house but several parts of the house needed cleaning and/or repair. Pool railings were rusty and stained our towels. Carpet and furniture were stained and dirty. Bathroom shower curtain was moldy. Very few cleaning supplies in the house - didn't have a decent broom. Not enough dish towels. Refrigerator did not work when we arrived. Management came to fix it. Ice maker in the refrigerator never worked. I think when you spend that much money for a week in a house you expect things to be right during your stay.

Rating Details: I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. I was more than happy with the location. The vacation rental was clean. The property manager was very helpful. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It is a great house but several parts of the house needed cleaning and/or repair. Pool railings were rusty and stained our towels. Carpet and furniture were stained and dirty. Bathroom shower curtain was moldy. Very few cleaning supplies in the house - didn't have a decent broom. Not enough dish towels. Refrigerator did not work when we arrived. Management came to fix it. Ice maker in the refrigerator never worked. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a fabulous vacation staying at 24B Eugenia. The house is large, well decorated, well maintained and well stocked. There was enough space for everyone to spread out and do their own thing but also plenty of common areas for us hang out together. The kitchen is fabulous! It was the perfect home for our large, extended family. From the house it is a short walk to the beach or a bike ride to everything else on Kiawah. We've spent several spring breaks in Kiawah and this was by far the best ever!!! We'd highly recommend this home!

This wonderful home is well equipped for a family reunion or a large gathering of friends, which we were. I love to cook and the kitchen was arranged just as I would have set it up. There were plenty of glasses for every kind of beverage; and I loved cooking with the new Paula Dean Cookware. Dining areas were comfortable and plentiful. Although it was not the time of the year to get into the pool, it was pretty to look at. The bedrooms were spacious and wonderful with private bathrooms. To have the ocean just across the street for a morning or afternoon was a lovely extra bonus. It's in a good location for easy on and off th island to enjoy Freshfields and the Bohickett shops.

Recommended for: Families with teenagers
