Enjoy a relaxing get-away on beautiful Pine Lake. This warm, cozy, year-round family lake house offers beautiful panoramic views of Pine Lake #2 & #3 from Ford's Point. Spectacular sunsets can be enjoyed from any one of two decks or from the side yard. This two story home is nicely appointed on a large private lot atop a hill offering plenty of space for kids to run and play and 100' of water frontage.
Offering more than 2,000 sq. ft., this year-round home is fully furnished including an eat-in kitchen with views of lake #3, large family room overlooking lake #2, large master suite overlooking lake #2 and 5 additional bedrooms with queen, double and twin beds. The master bath includes a stall shower and jetted tub. Special gates on staircases and the upper deck are installed for the safety of small children.
The house has two decks with plenty of space for lounging and outdoor dining. A gas grill is located on the upper deck for your convenience and a fire pit is situated on the lower deck for roasting hot dogs and marshmallows. Additional outdoor furniture is situated in the side yard featuring cool breezes and outstanding views of lake #3. A hammock can be found under a few shade trees to enjoy a nap or the lake breezes.
Pine Lake is a 660 acre all-sports lake made up of 4 lakes that are connected by channels. If fishing is on your list, species include Walleye, Northern Pike, Crappy, Bluegill, Perch, etc...you can fish from the end of the dock or use our metal fishing boat to further explore. There are many great shallow swim areas to take advantage of on the lake as well. We have a variety of flotation devices available for your floating pleasure. Two marinas can be found on the lake with pontoon boat rentals, boat launches, gas and other services.
Pine Lake is approximately 30 minutes from Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo, 2 hours from Detroit and 3 hours from Chicago. Plainwell is 10 minutes from the lake house and is a lovely, small town with shops, restaurants, antiques and an even an ice cream parlor where home-made ice cream can be enjoyed. Wineries, museums, restaurants, movie and other activities are all a short distance as well.
