  We were impressed with the roominess and counter space in kitchen. We had a great time and look forward to coming back. It was nice to have access to everything in case we forgot a spice or two. Thank you for making it very homey. House was just like the pictures and the owner is very responsive if you have any questions.

  I wanted a house to celebrate my 60th birthday with my husband and adult children, and this house was perfect. Everyone had their own room and there was plenty of space in the great room for everyone to hang out. We could sit out on the front porch in the sun and look at the ocean or sit in the hot tub and look at the cows in the pasture. The kitchen was large and wonderful for cooking family meals. Portuguese Beach was within walking distance and dogs are allowed. We had a wonderful time.

  My girlfriends and I spend yet another relaxing weekend in this lovely location. We appreciate so many things about this house, not the least of which are the hot tub (super hot, and ready to go upon our arrival) and the well stocked kitchen with a great stove and cooking range. No one wanted to leave. We will hopefully be coming back every year!

  We really enjoyed our Spring Break family get away. The beaches were so close, the view was incredible and the kids loved the house. It is a perfect location for a wonderful family get together. The owner was incredibly easy and nice to deal with and it was especially nice for a me, as a working mom who occasionally forgets to bring items on a trip, to find the little things around the home that we needed and had forgotten to pack. Our family and dog had a blast watching the view from the great picture windows in the living room and had so much fun running through the beautiful yard. The kids and my husband and I especially enjoyed the hot tub! What a great place. Thank you Ardelle for making our vacation and wonderful stress free experience. We will be back!

  Quiet setting in small enclave of homes. A short (1-2 block) walk to the beach, and a short drive to a number of other beaches along this stretch of the coast. The living room is drenched with sun almost all day (if it is shining, of course). The house is well-equiped and very comfortable for hanging around - the gas fireplace, hot tub, and gas grill are all nice features. The upstairs loft has wonderful light and views. A really nice spot for relaxing.

  There were 7 of us who visited this home for my birthday. The college aged "kids" stayed upstairs and my 93 year old mother took the master. The handicapped shower was perfect for her and the toilet (with rails) made her feel very safe. The girls loved the cows and the easy beach access. My husband loved the expansive view from the front room. I loved the openness and space in the kitchen and the front room. We all had room to lounge. We also appreciated the "dog friendly" attitude of the owner. The only thing we would change was the dining room table. The leg configuration caused a few bruises. The owner was more than gracious in helping us with questions and the prices were fantastic. We will rent again the next time we come to the Bodega area.

  Casa del Sol is a gem. It is exactly as described: it has a wonderful, spacious kitchen with upscale appliances, comfortable beds and bedrooms, nice deck for bird watching or lazing, very clean hot-tub, wi-fi and computer that seamlessly worked, a comfortable living room for visiting and watching TV. While the house and location are both very special it was the generosity of the sundries left for use that I appreciated every day. Some rentals are completely void of the little things you might need or forget to bring: shampoo, zip-loc bags, coffee filters, etc. With these left for us to use it almost felt like home. Corny but true. And with Dad in a wheelchair and a dog in the family this was the perfect spot for us to enjoy. Without question would rent again...

  We had a great time celebrating a 60th birthday here with magnificent views, excellent weather, and a spectacular beach. The kitchen was very well appointed allowing us to cook great food and the house a relaxing environment to hang out with family and pets. We enjoyed the spa, barbequed oysters, played music and made friends with the cows. A truly good time was had by all, and we will definitely come back again.

  This is a great place. The house is spacious, comfortable, 5 minutes to the beach, has a great view of a pasture (with visiting cows) and the ocean in the background. The house is very well kept-up and clean, and it is so well-stocked. Forget bringing olive oil, extra towels, art supplies and games for your kids! The owners even provide q-tips-- imagine that!

  Our stay at Casa Del Sol was wonderful! It exceeded our expectations! This beautiful,clean house had amazing views from every room, a large well-equiped kitchen, 3 very comfortable sleeping quarters (2 bedrooms & 1 spacious loft), lovely dinning room, and comfortable family room. The outdoor decks had furniture and hot-tub to view the ocean. The owner, Ardelle, was extremely helpful and easy to work with. I would highly recommend this property!!
