This rustic-style Cabin (4300 square feet) with all the modern conveniences includes:
- 6 Bedrooms plus sleeping and sitting loft;
- 5.5 Bathrooms;
- Main Master Suite with jetted whirlpool tub, double sinks, separate shower/lav room;
- 2 additional en-suite bedrooms;
- 2 FULL KITCHENS;
- 2 Living Rooms plus sitting loft;
- 2 Dining Rooms plus Breakfast area;
- Fully air-conditioned for comfort during warm summers;
- Heat and air-conditioning have 3 separate zones for comfort all year.
It is available for rent fully furnished, perfect for large extended family groups, with beds sleeping up to 33 people comfortably.
The separate living room areas provide both space and privacy for everyone. All five full bathrooms have full-size tubs and showers. (The Main Master Suite has a jetted tub and separate walk-in shower.)
There is an attached two car garage with direct entry to the main level.
This beautiful cabin is perfect to enjoy quiet time away from the city or to spend quality time with family and friends. The Cabin is on a quiet cul-de-sac approximately mid-way between the Suncadia Resort and Lake Cle Elum. It is approximately 50-90 minutes from the Seattle metro area, just minutes from Interstate 90.
Features include two complete living rooms plus a loft, two dining areas plus a separate breakfast area (total seating for more than 24 people), two full kitchens each with stainless steel appliances including dishwashers (both are fully equipped with all basic cooking and dining supplies), slab granite counters in all bathrooms and both kitchens, and two sets of full-sized washers and dryers.
Two large screen TV’s with cable, a full-size pool table (and a junior size pool table soon to arrive!), and a foosball table add to the fun. Leather recliners and rustic cabin-style furniture add to the comfort and ambiance. The pool table area has a third TV with cable.
There is a large patio from the lower level, plus a balcony off the main living room, and another balcony off the Main Level Master Suite. Patio furniture is set up during mild weather. A lower patio has horseshoe pits (please inquire about installation date).
Come see what Suncadia, Ronald, Roslyn, and Cle Elum have to offer! Within just a 50 to 90 minute drive from the Seattle metro area, you will find sunnier and warmer summers and colder and snowier winters. Enjoy the local seasonal fun of golf, snowmobile rentals, horseback riding, hiking, biking, boating, cross country skiing, fishing, bridge jumping, lake swimming, snow shoeing, down hill skiing, river rafting, museums and historical town walks, movie theater, dining, and access to all Suncadia public facilities (including Suncadia’s Prospector public golf course, Glade Spa services, fine dining at several restaurants, ice skating, bicycle rentals for families, and concerts).
Local activities include wandering around the old mining town of Roslyn (renamed “Cicely, Alaska” for the series “Northern Exposure”). All of this is within a few minutes’ drive from the Cabin.
In the summertime, the Roslyn Ridge community recreational facilities are available, including the pool, lodge, large hot tub, volleyball and sports courts, with refreshments available.

This level includes 1.5 Bathrooms, the best Master Suite, plus Main Living Room, Main Dining Room, Main Kitchen, Breakfast Room, and 2 balconies overlooking the back patios and private Hot Tub. There are a few stairs from the attached garage.
- Minimum Age Limit For Renters : Person making the reservation, paying, and responsible for the group must be at least 30 years old. No exceptions please. Quaint old mining town of Roslyn, Washington was the model for the setting of "Northern Exposure", and was renamed "Cicely, Alaska". Visit the museums, The Brick (for great burgers!), and the Sunday
The town of Cle Elum has a large Safeway for groceries. In "downtown" Cle Elum, there are other small stores (coffee, pharmacies, home and farm supplies, restaurants, etc.)
The restaurant and bar area have wonderful views of the valley and nearby mountains.
Enjoy Suncadia's two World-Class golf courses, Prospector's and Rope Rider. The Golf Shop is located in the smaller Suncadia Inn.

Hi Pennie, We are excited about the upcoming family get together. Your home has been our favorite place from a long line of places we have gone each year. I love that we are all under one roof and not split between hotel rooms or condos. The snow helps the Christmas mood as well... It is a well stocked house and the two kitchens have been a total blessing for cooking big family meals. When I was given your contact info from "M", both "M" and "B" couldn't say enough nice things about you.

Pennie, We can't say enough how special our time was at "The cabin near Suncadia". We all loved it. Such care was taken in the building, furnishing and accessorizing the place. There was plenty of room to spread out and the "kids", big and small enjoyed playing pool, foosball and Wii downstairs. As parents and grandparents, <name> and I thoroughly enjoyed watching all the family interact. The response from our whole family was "let's do this every year". Our kids paid a friend of the family (caterer) to come up and cook gourmet meals for us all - she was very impressed that the kitchens were so well stocked. Our photographer got great shots inside and out, and when we get a chance will forward some photos of our family on to you. Our pastor and wife came up to officiate in the renewing of our vows and they thought the place would be perfect for a staff retreat. You may be hearing from others that we've spoken to as well.

Hi Pennie, My family really enjoyed our stay this past week at your cabin. It was lovely and so well-equipped! We were amazed at how many pots, pans, dishes, and utensils were in both kitchens (and such nice quality too)! The cabin and the surrounding area are so nice. We wished we could have stayed longer. We did not have enough time to do everything that we wanted to. The burn ban was not in effect, so we were able to have fires in the patio firepit and make s'mores. The kids especially enjoyed that. We also took your recommendation and got some root beer from the Roslyn Brewery. We bought a growler (~ gallon) of it and brought it back to the cabin. We used some of it to make excellent root beer floats. Thank you again for getting the two Pack 'N Plays. [Both children] slept very well in them. I know that having those in the cabin made my [relatives’] trip easier. They had their hands (and luggage) full because they needed to bring strollers and car seats. Pennie, I wanted to take a moment to tell you how wonderful your "cabin" worked for our group this past <dates>. Our entire group was thrilled with the cabin and the central location in the state; we couldn't get over the fact how well stocked the kitchen was with quality items! We had lots of room for our group to break up and find a private area in which to work on our projects and still have lots of room to come together as a large group. We have several other retreats that we will be planning for later this year and if the dates work out with availability we would love to return to the cabin. … The linens were of course outstanding and everyone agreed that they had a great night's sleep. It is very easy to tell that the cabin is more than an investment rental property by all the little touches and the "high" quality of furnishings. I have to also say our group members LOVED the yellow ducks in the bath - oh my goodness it was hilarious watching them barter over the little ducks for their small ones at home. [NOTE from Owners: We are happy to provide extras of the Cabin’s special little items, including these and others like frisbees, mugs, little stuffed “Moosies”, and are sending more to this group!] … I can tell you we are looking the month of June and then again in October for our retreat dates. "Hello Pennie, We left the house just before noon today. We had a WONDERFUL time. The house was perfect for our crew--the downstairs was great for the kids and their noise didn't drift upstairs! The older "kids" loved the pool table and the younger ones the Wii and foosball table. Everyone loved the hot tub. It did get pretty cold for a couple of days and lots of snow on Monday--we stayed home on Monday and just sat in the hot tub, played Uno and watched the snow fall. It was a great opportunity to have everyone gathered around the table, talking, sharing stories and enjoying each others company. It was also great to have the little TV/DVD player in the loft--we could put the little ones up stairs watching a movie while we were right downstairs fixing meals. It was so convenient to have the laundry room--especially with a baby and three kids! We had a wonderful Thanksgiving week--the Ronald, Roslyn, Cle Elum area is so beautiful--we love the small town atmosphere. We went to the [name] store for a couple plastic sleds and the kids and adults did some sledding. [Store name] had our pre-ordered turkey ready for us on Wednesday morning! Everything worked out great. I have to say, with as many people as we had, the whole week went off without a hitch. Thank you again for allowing us to share your beautiful home. "We loved our stay! Incredible house in an incredible area. Lots of rooms for lots of people with a great master suite on the middle level. The downstairs was perfect for our students with the hot tub, pool table, and big TV. We took our High School kids from church and they were fully entertained the entire weekend. The scenery was spectacular and the little towns of Roslyn and Ronald are always fun. Highly recommend this as a great place to spend a relaxing weekend with a big family (or two!)." We thoroughly loved it. We liked it so much that they all have asked me to write to you to see if we can rent from you for next year. The weekend next year would be [dates]. Also I have another question for you. My family (our kids and grandkids) do a [holiday dates] weekend getaway every year. I was wondering what you would charge for the house for that weekend for Friday and Saturday nights. Well….you are doing a great job! The house is wonderful and we will certainly be passing your name on for larger vacation rentals. They are hard to find (we have traveled so much with our large group, we really love the bedrooms and this would also be a great place to bring kids since each bedroom could be a family room with the bunks.) I’m in the Master Suite right now on my conference call and am sitting by the deck. I also wanted to compliment your cleaners…this house is in perfect shape. (being new helps, but keeping it looking like new is a good thing!) I will not bring my laptop to the pool…my husband will kill me, but I love that wireless is up there!! Almost done with “work” and get started with vacation…but I can tell you sitting by the deck in this great chair looking out to the mountains is a GREAT way to work! Hi Pennie! I am back at work - what a drag. I cannot express how much fun we had at your cabin. It was absolutely perfect for our family and the number of people. I have been bragging all day to my co-workers. We purchased a spare propane bottle and placed it on the deck of the main floor by the BBQ grill. It was $48 from the local hardware store. This includes the filling with propane as well. Again, we appreciate everything. I will also forward some pictures to you!
