We have just completed brand new travertine bathrooms, kitchen upgrades, and completely repainted. Our building has has also undergone a complete renovation with new windows and sliding glass doors, railings, awnings, etc., etc.
This spacious and luxurious second floor villa at Captains Walk in Palmetto Dunes is beautifully decorated and will afford you fabulous direct oceanfront panoramic views of the beach and ocean from the master bedroom suite, private balcony (lanai), living room, dining room, fully equipped updated kitchen and laundry room with full size washer and dryer.
From this spacious direct ocean-front villa you do not need to lift your head from your pillow to enjoy the sunrise, magnificent views and the gentle ocean waves. The master bedroom suite features a king-size bed and a private bath with a separate dressing area. The guest bedroom features two full-size beds as well as a private bath. Other amenities include a full-size washer and dryer, color TV with DVD and/or VCR with remote in each bedroom as well as color TV and DVD/VCR the living room, mini stereo, beach chairs, games, books, puzzles, movies and more.
Enjoy your private ocean-front balcony which you can access from the master bedroom suite as well as the living room. You will not be disappointed in this villa!
You are only steps away from the magnificent beach and oceanfront swimming pool which is heated during the months of October, November, March and April and features a large cabana with covered deck, and children's pool. For your convenience, there are also 2 charcoal BBQ grills located at the pool for your use.

Hard to get deposit back

We had a great stay at this condo, it was bigger than I expected and had more amenities than described, except for a garbage disposer. But, getting the deposit back took way to much effort. It was suppose to be returned in 2 weeks, it took 5. After the second week, I started trying to contact the owners and they didn't respond or return phone calls.THEN they said they would send the deposit back in spite of us of leaving it dirty with sand in it. I can't see how this is unusual, since it is a beach condo. I believe they were hoping we would forget about the deposit.
Owner response:We as Owners had just been there the week before and the villa was imaculate and ready for summer enjoyment for all our guests. We have been renting this condo for 15 years and can count on one hand the number of times we have had to take any of the security for major things such as breaking a table, walking through a screen door, bringing a dog, etc. This family should be ashamed of this posting as they trashed our home and have the nerve to post such a thing. Our cleaners had to work most of the day when they had other units to clean to bring the unit back to a rentably status. After long deliberation we clearly made the mistake of returning the deposit to this guest. We will in future advise to all vrbo viewers not to rent to this family. Anyone who could treat our home and claim just sand is rudely mistaken. As we have been on vrbo over 8 years and do not solicit comments from our guests, as a result of this, we are happy to provide many, many references of previous guests who especially appreciate the pain we take in ensuring our home is clean for each and every guest.

Our family, including 2 teens,had a great stay at Luv Fore Sea . This condo is exactly as described and photographed, except that it is much more spacious than it appears in the photos. It was very clean and well-furnished with good quality kitchenware. The beach is one of the best we've visited: soft sand, warm water, no rocks, shallow water, not crowded, nice waves for boogie boarding at high tide. The complex, Captains Walk is in a great location on the island, with easy access to restaurants, grocery, shopping, at Shelter Cove and elsewhere on the island. We recommend the Coastal Discovery Center, riding bikes on the beach, and Ruan's Thai Restaurant.
Recommended for:Families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.
