  Our stay at this home was wonderful. The owner was very good to work with. The house was spacious enough for all in our party of 8 (including a 1 year old and a 5 year old). The little one loved the pack and play. Plus the high chair came in handy. You will need to take sheets, towels, etc, as they are not provided- I can't believe that someone would actaully steal these! You will also want to take toys, floaties for the pool, as they are not provided... We took our 80 year old mother- which the walk to the beach for her was a bit far. We should have rented a golf cart. There is a little shop close and several restaurants within a couple blocks. Plus the Surfside Pier is across the street.

  This is such a nice home, tastefully decorated, and so comfortable. Our first family vacation in a long time and it just suited us so well. The owner was wonderful to work with, and we just want to thank the Finn family for sharing their beautiful home with us.

  We really enjoyed the size of the house and how close it was to the beach and restaturants. House was clean when we got there and there was lots of space for our family of four to spread out in. Kitchen/living area was very spacious and the open concept was nice. The pool was not heated and the weather was rainy, so we only enjoyed it once. The pool was clean but not really big enough for four of us to use the floating chairs we brought along. We did have to re-stock on supplies after day one, things like tp, paper towels, dish soap, hand soap, diswasher liquid etc. Traffic was noisy every morning since the house sits a few yards from a major intersection and beach access. The beach area was wonderful, with lifeguards and police patrol. Lots of families so that was great ! Overall we enjoyed a relaxing stay.

  We had a large family of 8 adults and 4 children that stayed here. Other than myself who's single and had to crash on the couch, everyone had their own room for their families and were very comfortable. Im not saying the couch wasnt comfy, but after 4 nights of a couch, I missed my large bed back home...lol The furnighings of the house were amazing and I loved the floor! It was beautiful! The location was perfect to the pier which was a short walk across street, Bubbas Shack was just next door or River City cafe acrosse street, to get something to eat. Its a great neighborhood and you have a nice view where you can sit on the porch and watch traffic and passerbys. The pool was more than expected. I am almost 5'8 and I had to stay on tip toes in deep end. It was awesome!!!!! Side note, there is only one dvd player in the livingroom. If you want to watch personal movies in a different room, bring your own dvdplayer.

  This beach house was perfect for our blended family. Spring break was relaxing and fun. Everything was provided and the 8 kids enjoyed tooling around in a golf cart rented for the week just steps away. Everything we needed was close by ~ a great burger joint, the gorgeous beach, fun nick knack shop, ice cream store, fishing pier and so much more!! We had a blast! The pool and rocking chairs brought the much needed relaxation after our endless day on the go. We celebrated our daughters 16th bday in style at a fabulous place in the Market district of SC. We took helicopter rides, played mini golf and lots of arcade games/go karts. We need to come back to this exceptional getaway again ~ perhaps without kids to really RELAX! :0)

  We just returned from Spring Break 2011. Weather was great, and the house was fantastic. The house had everything we could think of and then some. It was myself, 2 best girlfriends from high school and our children. We had 16 year old boys, two teenage girls, and a 8 year old and 4 year old. The house was perfect for all of us. We were close enough, and in a lovely neighborhood that we felt comfortable letting the teenage kids walk to the beach by themselves any time of day or night. It was wonderful for three friends to reconnect with eachother and our kids. Having our own pool , and the outside shower ,after going to the beach was great too. I can not say enough good things. We had a fabulous time, and dream of going again. Possibly when the kids graduate in two years. Thank you for an awesome time.

  Our Stay in March 2011 was very comfortable for our Family. It is very spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen was very well stocked, and we loved staying here. During our stay, Surfside Beach had a street fair which we could enjoy right from the front porch! Being close to everything, we wondered if it would be noisy at night, but it was surprisingly quiet.....even more so than our neighborhood home. Plenty to do within a short walk or drive, including the beach, and restaurants. The owners were wonderful to correspond with and answered every question we had. This is an excellent rental and I would highly recommend it. We can't wait to stay here again!

  Spent a wonderful week in June 2010. Loved it so much we booked for June 2011 before the end of our stay! The house is immaculate, nicely decorated, felt like *home away from home* and the owners are a delight. Just a short walk to the beach, pier, and two great places to eat, River City Cafe and Nibbles. The brownies at Nibbles.... to die for! Right now our family is digging out from under snow on a daily basis and we have already started our countdown to vacation!!

  For our small family the house was excellent. The house is very well cared for, the swimming pool was very clean. The location of the property is perferct, beach just a half a block away, resturants close,and easy to get in and out of the property God willing and the creek doesnt rise we will stay here again. The Finns own the property are very nice and very good to deal with. Again if you want a nice place to stay this is it . Thanks Jeff. Dennis
