Beautiful maintained water front 4Bedroom-4Bath home in the heart of the most desirable location in Islamorada- Venetian Shores!
Boat dockage directly in front of your door! Our home is an upscale paradise. Professionally maintained inside as well as outside. Equipped for entertaining, cooking or just relax and visit the finest seafood restaurants anywhere. You will have easy access to either the Ocean or Florida Bay by way of Snake Creek. Both sides treat anglers as well as scuba or snorkelers the finest clean water available in the country. Sailfish, Marlin, Mahi, Wahoo, Snapper and Grouper on our Ocean side and Snook, Redfish,Tarpon, Bonefish and Cobia on our Florida bayside. Our front porch which overlooks our marina and the bay is perfect for a peaceful coffee or tea serving in the morning as well as a nice snooze while book reading in the evening. The sunsets are something to behold.
Our home comes fully equipped with a full kitchen with all necessary items, microwave,coffee smaker including extra espresso machine,blender, range/oven,dishwasher, fridge, central AC with 2 separate controls, full size washer/dryer,iron,all bed bath and kitchen linens, stainless steel gas barbecue,screened in rear deck area with outdoor table with chairs. Full entertainment system with new 52" Sony 1080P LCD TV and surround sound with Definitive Technology speakers, Sony Blu-ray DVD in living room as well as televisions in all bedrooms all hooked up to Direct TV.. and yes it includes major upgrade channels as well as the NFL package! Wireless internet by cable throughout the house and unlimited local and long distance telephone included. For boaters or fisherman, the boat slip is right in front of our home in the marina across the street. It is just steps to the boat. We also have a bait freezer and fish station in the rear of the house.
***Beaches***
*Just one (1) mile away from the home is Founders Park. A 40-acre park that offers many activities and relaxation for the whole family, even the dog. An olympic-sized pool with diving area, a wonderful shallow water beach, water sports rentals, baseball fields, fishing jetty, bocce, tennis courts, basketball, vita course with 18 exercise stations, multi-purpose path, skate park and dog park are all available. *Annes Beach is found at Mile Marker 73 Oceanside along US1. It's a free public beach and it is popular so getting there early is recommended especially during holidays. It is a beautiful shallow beach great for the kids and sunbathing. Two parking lots are 1/4 mile away and most people stay in the area of the lots. Take the boardwalk to more secluded stretches of the beach. It is really nice! There are bathrooms and covered picnic tables. Crystal clear waters with minimal wave action.
*Beach behind the Library is found at Mile Marker 81.5 Bayside. It is not the real name but a nice, short stretch of beach that is free. A playground is available as are bathrooms, off the main thoroughfare
I assume you already know about Islamorada but in case you don't its heaven on earth for anyone who loves fishing, snorkeling, scuba diving, or just water play in general. The waters off our ocean side are literally teaming with the finest deep sea fishing PERIOD. On our bayside in Florida Bay one can cruise the flats or snags for so many species or head over to Flamingo and explore the edge of the Everglades. Watch out for the gators and crocks though. Among other activities available are our "Founders Park" with an olympic swimming pool, tennis courts, boat ramp as well as a beach for beach-goers. Many Jet skiing, wind surfing, para sailing, and sail boarding rental places are just 5 minutes away. Theater of the Sea is about a mile away, and you can swim with the dolphins there or go to Robbies and feed the Tarpon!

Why the Owner Chose Islamorada
It's the perfect place to "get away from it all" And, you cant possibly beat the fishing (both ocean and bay) as well as diving and snorkling on our wonderful reef, which after 40 odd years of visiting and now living here, I NEVER grow tired of. I can't think of a place I rather be.

Retired NYC business man just looking for the wonderful peaceful life here in the Florida Keys.. which is about as far away from NYC as one can get I believe.. A peaceful paradise and I feel very lucky to be able to call it home. My wife and I live here most of the year but go to Virginia Beach and stay there for the summer months.
