  Our son just finished the Third phase of NAVY SEAL training in San Diego and came to stay with us for a week,-seeking relaxation. We only live in Minneapolis and wanted to get away as a family but didn't want to spend hours and hours on the road to get there. When I found your place on VRBO.com I felt kind of silly only traveling to Buffalo to get away. But your lovely home was perfect for what we were looking for! I grew up in Rogers and my moms family is from Buffalo so I know the town very well. We went to the play on Friday night-Little Shop of Horrors. Which was a very easy-going way to begin the weekend. The space is great! We did yoga on the living room floor where there was lots of space to stretch out. We cooked great meals in the kitchen, played pool, foosball and darts. We relaxed in the hot tub- what a perfect temperature to fully enjoy that! It was in the 40s. We truly felt like we got "away" without having to drive hundreds of miles to get there. Thank you for opening this great space to us. Now we all can go back to Minneapolis truly refreshed and not exhausted by the long drive home. We loved our time in Buffalo! Jeff, Tracy, & Garrett. PS-The website doesn't do this place justice! It's MUCH bigger than we expected! And it's amazing but it is so much darker at night this far from the cities-Loved that too!

  It was a hectic week for us and we had all we could do to get our clothes packed and make it to Buffalo for our 7 PM meeting. By the time we arrived here to begin our 35th anniversay get-away it was dark. What a pleasant surprise to see the anniversary greeting, flowers and treat basket plus the surprise in the refrigerator. This place is so beautifully done and what a great lake view to wake up to in the morning. We had a wonderful relaxing weekend enjoying the CDs, game tables, movies and so nice to have the piano(next time I'll have to bring my music!) We were looking for a nice eating place on Sat. night and found the Wild Marsh Golf Course. Very Good. Weather was cool but winds died down on Sunday evening and we loved the hot tub and firepit in the evening. You seemed to think of everything! Thank you for sharing this beautiful place with us!

  We had a wonderful family vacation. The kids loved the surprises you left for them and we loved the treats. It was great family time relaxing being together and enjoying the pool. You have such a nice place-thank you for opening it up to us. We hope to be back next year. It was a wonderful way to end the summer!

  We had a great time. Pool and hot tub were great. The lake was beautiful...although we didn't have too much luck fishing. We enjoyed the Mall of America and a baseball game. The house was wonderful with lots of things to do. Thanks for your hospitality!!! P.S. Go Tigers!! (of course we won) (Thank you for the basket)

  Dear Deb & Harry, We call your wonderful cabin "Camp Blonde" because it Rocks!!! We had a great time; cooked homemade pizza from scratch, played pool and rested alot. It was wonderful! The beds were firm and we slept so well. Your "stuff" things you provided for your renters were top notch. We rent homes often and your accessories are the best we have used. We always carry /bring sheets and other accessories when we rent homes, and we didn't need to use them! Thank you for making us feel so welcomed. We are coming back next year for sure.

  Deb and Harry, Thanks for hosting us in the rental. We enjoyed the hot tub lake and especially the pool. It was very hot out 100 +and a/c worked great. Our kids and family enjoyed the yard, kayaks, row boat and paddle boat. We hope to see you again next year. Thanks again!
