This historic house was built in the 17th century. It is situated in one of the most charming parts of the canal belt - the Prinsengracht - near the suburb Jordaan, Ann Franks house and Westerkerk. Dam Square is 10 mins walk and central station 15 mins. Many restaurants and pubs around.
The house is split level. The entry at ground floor is in the kitchen; from the kitchen you enter bathroom + toilet; you go down a few steps for living room, bedroom 1 and patio and up a few steps for bedroom 2. In the living room is a sofa bed for a 5th person.
On the back side of the house there is a small garden with BBQ and furniture.
The neighbourhood is absolutely charming and vivid. There is the canal belt, the shopping area of Haarlemmerdijk and Haarlemmerstraat with many special shops, and the suburb Jordaan that needs to be discovered.
The markets on Saturday and Monday are also worth a visit, for natural food, bric a brac, paintings. At night there is the cinema at Haarlemmerstraat and many brown pubs, some with artists performing.
