WOW! This incredible 5100 square foot family home, resting on two acres, has EVERYTHING you could possibly want or need during your visit to the Rocky Mountains, complete with a home theatre in the walk-in level of the home and a sledding hill for the kids in the back yard! The home comfortably sleeps 14 people. The bunk room alone can sleep eight! Don't worry about waiting for a bathroom because there are five! (Beds: 2 masters each with a queen, another room with a queen, 2 queens/2 twins/queen pull-out all in the bunk room, a queen bed in the bedroom downstairs with its own fireplace.)
TV's are located in the upper master bedroom, the bunk room and of course, the home theater.
Tile, granite and hardwood floors are prevalent throughout the house. You are sure to find a cozy spot to rest and relax next to one of the five gas fireplaces or in the family library (internet available). Or visit the game room for a game of pool, foosball or darts.

Why the Owner Chose Private Homes
Close to Denver Area, away from the 1-70 corridor, ski areas, restaurants, mountain-biking, camping, lakes, golf and the people. We can pack up the car after work and leave Highlands Ranch, drive west and be sipping a beer at 9,500 feet-watching the alpenglow atop the Continental Divide in less than 90 minutes.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Skiing at Winter Park Resort and Sol Vista, hanging out with the locals, golfing 27 holes right off the porch, catching nice fish 2 minutes from the house, tons of things to do with my kids year round. Over the years we have kept improving on the house so that everything we need is on hand. My kids keep finding new things to do like building the ski jump in the back yard.
Owner's Map of Private Homes
We grew up skiing and recreating year-round at Winter Park/Mary Jane and in Grand County. We always liked the area better than Summit and Eagle County-biggest lakes and best skiing without the crowds, cost and stuffiness of other destination areas. Perfect and safe for families, intimacy and views.
