Set at an altitude of 450 metres, you can enjoy breathtaking views of the surrounding nature including olive groves and woods. The hotel is decorated in an elegant, 19th-century style. The Relais Il Cantico della Natura was refurbished using recycled materials, according to the hotel’s environmentally-friendly philosophy.

When Francesco and Monia Micci saw the farming business and the abandoned farmhouse for the first time in 1999, they were struck, not only by the beautiful setting that dominated the charming glimpse of Lago, from the charm to the energy of that place, which combined austerity, in the form of the stones, with a flexible natural environment, intact, with a harmony of colours, smells and sounds. And from this deep contact with the place and a choice of life that values nature, tradition, spirituality as the basis, the plan to purchase the business to create a welcoming place for wellbeing and spirituality was born. With previous work experience as experts in local development and tourism, we tried to create our professional life and our personal life with hard work and the charm of the place made us want to provide an opportunity of quality that is found in the connection between man and the seasons.
Why the Owner Chose Magione
The Cantico della Natura holds an admirable panoramic position on the top of a hill which dominates a marvelous view of lake Trasimeno. At dawn and sunset, the rays of the sun rest on the water with scenic and fascinating effect, truly relaxing you. At night, the reflection of the lights on the lake and on the tower of Borgo di S.Savino creates a magical atmosphere. Some rooms and the prestigious suite enjoy this privilege even from within the room, this view which fills the sight and the soul. Completely isolated after having left the habitat of Montesperello and the nearest farm house for about 1km, the forest has wrapped the trees in its arms; the farmhouse has around 500 olive trees which surround the area and which provide generous amounts of produce at the right time.
