A few miles away is "Maine's Prettiest Village" Wiscasset, which has lovely antique shops and nice restaurants. The quaint town of Damariscotta is a short drive away, as well as Boothbay Harbor, Pemaquid Point, Camden, and Rockland, where many boat trips are offered and lots of small town shops. Bath is home to the Maine Maritime Museum, a popular destination for those interested in Maine's maritime heritage and culture.
