Our stay in this condo over Christmas this year was wonderful. The view from one of the 4 lanais was the best we could have wanted for my mother in law who could not get out much. The grounds are second to none and well maintained. The pool and bar b q areas are great and very well taken care of. The location of the complex is one of the best in poipu with everything you could want close by. The condo was very clean and well looked after. We needed a few repairs while we were there and they were taken care of immediately. Maureen was great to work with on the booking etc. We will definately be back again. Everything you could want in an amazing holiday. Thank you.

Great condo in Poipu!

We had a great stay in the condo last week. It fit our needs perfectly and was just as described above. The living room was spacious, the dining room could easily fit 8 for dinner, and the kitchen was well-equipped with plenty of plates, silverware, and cookware. Downstairs, the two bedrooms were fine for us and our two kids. It was very convenient having six beach towels and lots of extra shower towels, as well as having a full-size washer and dryer (there was even laundry detergent!). Note: the condo has no A/C, but it gets good cross-breezes, and we were comfortable most of the time. Also, the property is a bit hilly and the condo has stairs (which are unavoidable, with bedrooms/bathrooms downstairs and the main living space upstairs), so it might be tricky for guests with any mobility issues. The condo facilities are nice - everything is very well-maintained, including the gardens, pool, and tennis courts. We didn't have a chance to use the shared grill, but it had a few picnic tables next to it and is conveniently located. There was plenty of parking close to the condo. Best of all, it's walking distance to the closest boogie boarding beach, playground, and keiki beach! It's about 10 minutes' drive up to the main road (hwy 50), but there are plenty of small markets, grocery stores, and restaurants within a few minutes' drive. I definitely recommend this property. Great value for the price paid.

We stayed 8/13-8/20. Place was spic and span when we arrived. Nicely furnished, providing a very comfortable place to just sit, relax, eat out on lanai, etc. All was as described on VRBO website. We used the very accessible barbecue twice during the week; ate there, while others cooked there and carried food back to their condos. The unit was very well equipped, and previous renters had left small supplies of spices, etc. so that we could easily cover what we forgot to buy. We used some, and left some....this too added to homey feel. Everything worked well, and obviously some appliances/furnishings had been updated, but the "older" stuff presented no problems. Beach equipment was a plus....some came with condo, but some had been left by previous renters. Proximity to the 2 different beaches made it hard to leave, as a matter of fact the only negative feeling we had was that we had to leave too soon.

We were very pleased with our stay at Nihi Kai Villas. We found the room description pretty close to spot on, the access to the ocean wonderful, the property very well cleaned and maintained. It was tremendously helpful to have everything from initial inquiry to final booking treated in a well detailed manner. (one couldn't ask for more.) The nearby town of Koala was great for shopping and getting any supplies you could want. The sushi in this area was very good. The unit was just wonderful. We all loved it. Beach access was minutes away and just gorgeous to both view and take part in. Everything you could want or need was within a walking distance. Wonderful walking trails by Shipwreck Beach offer not only incredible exercise but amazing views.(we were fortunate enough to see a monk seal) If I am fortunate enough to return I will be booking this unit again. I would highly recommend it. This unit was our central location to travel all around Kauai. We visited Waimea Canyon (and hiked a bit), Na Pali Coast trail Kalalau (we made it to Hanakapiai Beach and it was magnificent -we are in our mid 50's our son 19 and we all loved it). On the drive to Na Pali Coast we had stop often to look at the amazing ocean views. We often took little walks along look outs to appreciate the tremendous landscape. The Spouting Horn was interesting but there was no access to hike around that area.

Thank you for sharing your wonderful vacation home with our family! We loved this spacious unit! Perfect for a family. The kids were able to spread out and enjoy their time with us and catch a few moments for themselves in the bedrooms. This unit had everything we could possible need to make our stay feel just like home on a warm sunny tropical island. My husband enjoyed BarBq area and meeting many of the vacationers. Everyone was so nice! Terry was so friendly and kind we enjoyed our talks with her. She gave us the inside scoop and helped us to become a 'wall nut'! We love those Hawaiian sunsets. This was our 3rd time to the island and it was just as majical as I remember!

The unit is so convenient to Brenneke's and Poipu beaches. Tennis courts and pool are in great shape and were used daily. The condo was perfect for our family of 5! Updated nicely but not completely modern. We will definitely return!

Had a wonderful week. Well sorted out unit with updated bathrooms and appliances. Top quality beds, sheets and linens. Fresh carpet and paint. Nice furniture and artwork. Great view from the balcony and a very short walk to a perfect beach.

We had a really great time. The condo was lovely and I've already recommended it to some friends. Loved the baby toys in the closet! Definitely something that proved useful for us, and something we'd never have been able to schlep on our travels.

We had a great time in Kauai. The condo was very comfortable, and the lanai was our best place for dinner, or just relaxation, watching the ocean and the frequent rainbows. Great location, close to Poipu beach and good restaurants. Beautiful gardens, tennis courts and pool were all enjoyed daily. I would recommend this condo without any hesitation whatsoever.

We stayed a week this summer and were completely satisfied. Nice ocean view from the lanai.Very clean and well supplied.Even had beach mats and ice cooler. Just steps away from Brennecke's & Poipu Beach. Relaxing and comfortable. I'm sure we will return.

My wife and I stayed for a week during October and loved it. It was a great location, close to the ocean and the pool. Everyone was very friendly. The room was very well decorated and extremely clean. It was nice to have all of the amenities of home while on vacation. Very relaxing atmosphere that made it our best vacation ever.

We have stayed in this condo for eight of the last nine years. Nihi Kai villas are the nicest on Poipu Beach. Great location. Beautiful view from the lanai to watch sunsets, whales, etc. Nicely decorated. People have no idea how nice it is to have a regular size washer and dryer. Mark and MaryJo

This is one of the nicer units in one of the best complexes in the Poipu Beach area. The location is handy to parking and offers great ocean and sunset views. We have stayed in this unit on two separate occasions and loved it each time. The owners have equipped the place with everything we need to enjoy our vacation in paradise. We happily recommend this unit to anyone looking for a wonderful, comfortable place to stay in Poipu.
