I am very particular about where I stay and the condo did not disappoint. It is beautiful, very clean and large. There were only two of us but it could sleep 12. Everything you need is provided. The view is great and the location is very central for exploring the entire region. We really enjoyed Hardy Falls in Summerland and the drive to Vernon taking the Westside route. Quail's Gate winery up the road is a fantastic place for a special dinner. The restaurant at the Four Eagles Golf course (approx a 3 minute drive) is outstanding for more casual fare. The hosts were fantastic. Rob and Tor are very generous, easy to work with and always available to answer questions and make recommendations. Payment was secure and easy and our deposit was returned the day after we checked out. Thank you so much. We highly recommend booking the sutie and will stay here again when we are in the area.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

This beautiful spacious penthouse was perfect for our large group. We enjoyed the huge main deck, a great place to take in the VIEWS and relax in the sun! My husband and I loved the master bedroom with our own private deck away from everyone else to enjoy our coffee in the morning and wine at night, and the soaker tub was luxurious! The kitchen is awesome, stocked with everything you could need. The resort itself is very nice, has an awesome pool area, and we enjoyed the firepits. Also, I highly recommend the Sunday Brunch at the Bonfire Grill, it was amazing. Rob was great, always quick to respond and answer questions. We're thinking of coming back again soon in a couple of months!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

We stayed with another family in this beautiful Lake Front Penthouse Condo. The condo was immaculate, and had tons of space. The layout of the condo is ideal for two families, and each room had it's own full bathroom and television. The views are stunning from the unit too. Plus, we loved all of the amenities available at the resort: pool with waterslide, gym, yoga studio, spa, and marina. We didn't want to leave the resort. Shopping and restaurants are conveniently located right up the hill. Rob was very helpful and easy to work with. We are planning on using the place again next year!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children.
Owner response: Thanks for the review Gina! We are glad you enjoyed our place! As past guests, you will get first chance at dates for next year! Take care and talk soon! Rob and Tor

Our second year at Barona Beach resort. Love the great location, close to vineyards, etc. Kids like the fact that lots of other kids around to play with and things to do. Our unit was ground level and the only minus was that unit above us had people who seemed to be walking around in steel-toed boots until late into night. Would rent again but at better price in June or September.Recommended for: Families with young children.

We took my mom up to Kelowna to celebrate her 60th birthday and were very pleasantly surprised as we walked into this beautiful penthouse. We were a party of 6 adults and 2 children and the PH had more than enough room to accommodate us – the condo was larger then some houses! We have rented townhouses in the past when our family vacationed together but they always seemed a bit crowded, so when we booked this property we planned a lot of activities during day. In hind sight I wish we would have spent more time in the property. Each room (not just the Master) had large walk-in closets, full-baths and TV’s – essentially giving off the feeling of 3 separate condos. This to me was a very big plus because it gave each couple their space and made the family vacay a little more fun ;). I wish I was able to upload some of the pictures we took so you can visually see the picture I’m trying to paint. My mom is an early riser and loved enjoying her tea while watching the beautiful Okanogan sunrise over the Lake off one of the decks. My husband and I on the other hand, enjoyed our glass of wine while taking in the beauty of the lake and surroundings at the end of the day. The condo gave off mixed feelings of a resort-style vacation while still having a ‘homey’ atmosphere. A big thanks to the owners for providing essentially all the necessitates – more then enough dishes, coffee maker, toaster, washer/dryer, BBQ on deck (plus all the utensils), wine openers?. There is a grocery store less than a 2 minute drive away. I strongly recommend this property if you’re planning on visiting Kelowna or even Penticton which is a short drive away. We spent one day in Penticton visiting some of the wineries out there (most walking distance from each other) – my favorite was the Red Rooster Estate. I would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.
Owner response: Thanks for the review Ruman and Jas! We love the place ourselves for exactly those reasons. It is hard to tell people just why we love the Okanagan so much, but you seemed to capture the feeling! Take care and see you next year!

This was our second summer staying at the waterfront penthouse and as usual we had a tremendous time!! Our girls never left the waterslide while my husband and I enjoyed poolside service in the heat of the BC sun. Rob is an excellent host and was always available for questions and fixed any concerns immediately. When we accidently left some items behind, they were FedEx shipped right to our door on our return home. We are looking forward to returning next year for some more sun and relaxation!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children.
Owner response: Thanks Michelle, Great to have you again! Look forward to seeing you again next year! Rob and Tor

Hi Rob, Thanks so much for the use of your condo at Barona Beach, we had a wonderful time and the amenities were wonderful. We enjoyed being able to walk directly out to the pool area, and the dock and beach out front was so convenient. The condo itself was very spacious and contemporary. We look forward to returning next year. Cheers, JaneRecommended for: Sightseeing, families with young children, girls getaway.

This property offers an amazing view of the lake from almost every location in the unit. The resort is a wonderful place to spend a family vacation. The pool was a great place for our young kids to play. Walking along the lake and through the neghbouring parks was very nice. We will definitely stay here again when we return to Kelowna. My Family (of 11 ppl) and I recently stayed at the Cove July 2-9 and it truly met all of our needs. The resort itself is beautiful and very well kept. The staff is friendly and always available to help. The rooms and Grounds were always clean and well maintained. The pool is fantastic, especially if you have small or young children, it's very clean, private and the slide is always fun. We rented our unit from Rob and he was excellent to deal with! No issues at all! We all look forward to coming back again next year!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.

Year Purchased: 2007
About the owner: Originally from Vancouver, our parents moved up to the Okanagan 12 years ago. After visiting them several times, we too fell in love with Kelowna. We purchased in Kelowna and lived here for three years. Unfortunately work transfered us back to Vancouver. We still get up to the Okanagan any time we can to enjoy boating on the lake, the many golf courses, and all of the local wineries. We love staying here and we hope you will enjoy it as much as we do! Rob and Tor Anderson
Why the Owner Chose Kelowna:
We chose this property because we like the ability to walk right out to the beach, pool, lake or grass... or we could sit on out private patio with a glass of Okanagan wine and watch the activities.
