The house is an old farm house that was built in 1853. It sits on 3.6 acres over looking the Mohonk preserve which is home to the famous Gunks climbing area. We are 5 miles from the town of New Paltz which is one of the oldest towns in the country and offers many great restaurants and shops.
In the surrounding area you will find attractions such as The Mohonk Mountain House and Minnewaska State Park. There are many great trails for hiking, biking, running and cross country skiing.
During the Fall season you can stop in to our neighbors, Jenkins Lueken Orchard for pumpkin picking or any time of year for local fresh fruits and vegetables.
The house has a mature fenced garden 10 years in the making that is full of plants and birds. You can take a nap in the hammock, curl up with a good book in the sun room or relax with a glass of wine by the fire.
